Product Warranty and Replacement Procedure Forme Limited Warranty 1.0 Warranty Periods Tucosi Pty Ltd T AS - Forme Bathroom Collection (Forme) warranty covers items that are found to be defective due to substandard materials and/or workmanship within the periods noted below from the date of purchase. Vanities/Tallboys Cabinet Top All Basins must be siliconed onto Benchtops/Cabinets to prevent water damage to unit. All Forme Vanities must be installed with the brackets provided. Note If Vanity is installed with known damage and damage is not reported warranty becomes void. Freestanding Bath It is advised that bath not be used for 24 hours after install to allow silicone to dry All Forme baths include adjustable concealed legs this enables you to adjust your floor levels accordingly prior to installing bath. Legs are to be silicone fixed to the floor. All baths are double skinned acrylic. Product cannot be cleaned with abrasive materials (eg Ammonia, bleach etc). We recommend a micro fibre cloth, warm water and mild based detergent if required(e.g Dishwashing liquid) Minimum 2 person lift DO NOT DRAG.
Mirror & Shavers Warranty will not be covered when mirror is cleaned with a highly abrasive cleaning product containing ammonia e.g. window cleaners may cause the mirror to de-silver (black marks forming on base of mirror). It is recommended a micro fibre cloth and warm water to be used. It is a requirement that reasonable ventilation i.e. IXL or window fully opened be used. Basins All basins must be siliconed onto benchtops/cabinet to prevent water damage to unit. Note Basins are stain resistant but not stain proof. Any stain needs to be cleaned off within 24 hours of stain occurring with a micro fibre cloth and warm water (no abrasive cleaning agents to be used). Note Basins are heat resistant but not heat proof e.g. hot irons are prohibited from being left on the surface. Accessories Floor Wastes Ensure grate is protected from scratching during the installation process by wrapping in newspaper. Lay floor bed so it slopes to the grate, then tile.
Heated Towel Rails 1 with the exception Jersey Rails - and Commercial Rails Must be installed by a licenced electrician If your heated towel rail develops a defect, you must not attempt to repair it yourself. Doing so may cause damage which is not covered by this warranty and/or personal injury. Non Heated Towel Rails 2.0 Terms and Conditions 1. It is the Responsibility of the licensed installer to inspect for damage, cracks or imperfections prior to installation. 2. No claims for damage/error will be considered after installation. 3. Warranty is void if abrasive cleaners are used. It is recommended that a micro fibre cloth and mild detergent or warm water be used. No products which contain ammonias to be used. 4. Forme warranty does not extend to any consequential loss, damage, misuse, neglect, alteration or incorrect installation. 5. Forme will at its discretion a. Repair or replace all or part of the product
b. Refund the purchase price to the retailer where the product was originally purchased. c. Refuse the claim as it deems damage to be from a non-manufacturing nature 6. The warranty covers only the original purchaser 7. The following are not covered by warranty - a. Damage due to incorrect installation b. Damage due to accident e.g. dropping of vanity c. Damage due to misuse of vanity e.g. dragging of bath d. Improper care and cleaning e. Alterations to original product f. Inappropriate use and/or abuse of item g. Failure to use or maintain items in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions or recommendations h. Normal wear and tear. 8. Please note some products will have minor imperfections if made from a natural product e.g. stone bowls. Natural imperfections are exempt from warranty 3.0 To Lodge a Claim To make a claim under this warranty, contact the store where you purchased your product. Proof of purchase will be required along with photos of the damage, description of the damage for a warranty to be valid. Forme will assess your claim based on the information you provide. This warranty does not cover any installation or removal costs. The benefits given by this warranty are additional to other rights and remedies that you may have under laws relating to our products. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
