Simple and Intelligent Unified Storage IT systems play an important role in supporting the highspeed development of enterprise business. Enterprises require IT systems to process their database-based applications, access multiple types of files and back up valuable business data. In the past, IT departments needed to deploy both SAN and NAS storage systems to address the need for different types of services. This approach yields difficult-to-manage storage architectures with increased complications and higher cost as well as low storage resource utilization and poor storage performance. To address these problems, Huawei is introducing a next-generation intelligent and innovative storage product Huawei OceanStor T Series Unified Storage Systems, based on the concept of simple and intelligent unified storage. This storage platform implements unified access to file and block-level data, features industry-leading performance, provides multiple mechanisms for improving efficiency, and offers a simple and intelligent storage solution by integrating architectural requirements for both SAN and NAS storage devices.
