Course Code: L024 LEAN FOR FRONTLINE MANAGERS IN HEALTHCARE An action learning prograe for frontline healthcare anagers 6 days Green Belt equivalent Are you ready to challenge the status quo and transfor your organisation?

OVERVIEW Leading sustainable transforational change by leveraging the power of lean healthcare The Healthcare sector is following the lead of the anufacturing industry ore and ore and adopting Lean as a continuous iproveent ethodology. Lean s powerful tools have been adopted to address varying healthcare issues fro wound care to reducing queues, to accessing services quicker, and has a proven track record in allowing healthcare providers deliver an iproved service using available resources. This Prograe is designed for frontline anagers in healthcare charged with delivering iproveents to their services within constrained resources. The prograe is specifically designed as a practical, tutor led course, to ensure that the benefits of Lean can be applied within the organisation within the shortest tiefrae possible. The Prograe participant will be introduced to the key concepts of Lean Six Siga ethodologies, techniques and leadership skills required to effect real and sustained iproveents to their service. Each stage of the Lean Six Siga D-M-A-I-C fraework; Define, Measure, Analyse, Iprove and Control, will be worked through using real probles fro within the course participants organisations. The training focuses on utilizing the ost coon Lean Six Siga and Change Manageent tools in the execution of ediu coplexity projects. How is the Prograe delivered? This Prograe is delivered over 6 days in a practical, action learning tutor led style. Each training day is delivered by an MCO Lean Facilitator. The style of training is participatory, harnessing the knowledge and expertise of the Prograe participants to deepen the learning experience. Prograe participants ust bring real projects to work through during the course and in addition keep a learning journal. Duration: This 6 day Prograe will coprise three odules of 2 + 2 + 2 days, over a three onth period (this can be tailored to suit your organisation s requireents). Approxiately 30-40 additional hours are required outside workshop hours. Participants are required to attend all six days, without exception. Who should attend? This Prograe is relevant for front line anageent staff responsible for driving service iproveent in day-to-day operations. It will equip frontline staff with the tools and techniques required to identify, plan, apply and aintain iproveent projects. Following copletion of this Prograe, individuals will possess the skills necessary to lead iproveent projects and work with Lean Six Siga Black Belts on coplex projects, and to lead transforation prograes within a Healthcare setting.
