Y E A R S ENTERTAINMENT & GIFT POLICY No teacher, employee or member of his/her family may accept directly or indirectly any gift neither in kind nor in cash or request for any monetary or non-monetary favour from the parents, students, alumni, stakeholders or the vendors/clients at all times. Exchange of gifts is strictly forbidden in RMS.

Y E A R S RMS DRESS CODE POLICY All employees of RMS are required to be in an outfit or attire as per the official and professional norms of the organization and culture. Teachers & Employees are responsible to be dressed in a neat, clean, soberly and smart official attire during the office/school hours or as per the requirement and nature of the job. Your dress code is your outlook which represents your personality well being and grooming therefore special care is required in the selection of your school/office attire. A teacher must present a dignified and graceful outlook at all times.

Y E A R S USE OF MOBILE PHONE & WIFI POLICY As per the RMS school policy use of mobile phones, smart phones and any telephony device is forbidden by the students and teachers during the school teaching hours at all times. Teachers and students are strictly forbidden from carrying mobile phones, smart phones and any telephony device to the classes and using them during school timings. The Government of Pakistan through a notification has banned the use of mobile phones in schools and colleges.

Y E A R S NO HOME TUITION POLICY As per the RMS school policy and home school agreement, no teacher working full time or part time in the school/college, probationary status or as a regular full time teacher and drawing salary and benefits from the school/college is NOT allowed to give home tuitions to the Roots Millennium Schools students at home or anywhere outside the school/college premises.

Y E A R S CONFIDENTIALITY CODE OF CONDUCT Roots Millennium Schools Employee Code of Conduct sets out the standards which all employees must adhere to. Failure to do so will constitute a disciplinary offence. Any school curriculum document, teacher guide, student workbooks, admission records, nominal roll lists, communication and financial records, student files/folders, employee data, learning resources, content, publications or policy/procedural document may not be reproduced, typed or copied in any form including electronic, physical or photocopy, at all times. Any breach of the Roots Millennium Schools copyrights and privacy policy will be dealt with firmly and shall be subject to legal proceedings against the teacher/employee.

Y E A R S SCHOOL PROPERTY & PREMISES POLICY RMS will provide every employee with the necessary resources in support of his/her role and responsibility. None of the allotted resources at school/office should be used for personal use, nor removed from the physical confines of RMS campuses and offices nationwide - unless it is approved and your job specifically requires use of company resource outside the physical facility of RMS. Under no circumstances, any RMS Premises will be used for organizing or arranging any personal event of the teacher/employee at all times. Violation in this regard will be dealt with strictly and shall be considered as the breach of employment terms and condition.

Y E A R S TEACHER'S CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY No teacher is allowed to use any abusive word, insulting comments or humiliating remarks on any student irrespective of his/her academic level or background. The institution believes in fair play, justice, encouragement and motivation techniques by respecting human dignity, background, religion, culture, physical ability and self-esteem of every student irrespective of his/her ability level. All teachers have to adhere to the school code of conduct in which the teacher has to act as a role model and be the greatest source of inspiration for the students thus he/she has to be an ideal personality with high moral values. No teacher is allowed to physically punish the child, which is against the laws of pakistan.

Y E A R S PERSONAL INJURY & LIABILITY POLICY In case of an employee injury, accident or death while at school, work or travelling while performing their contractual employment responsibilities and obligations, the management of Roots Millennium Schools shall bear no personal, legal or financial liability and shall not be held responsible for any such injury, accident or death.

Y E A R S UPDATION OF PERSONAL FILES POLICY It is the requirement of RMS DHRM that the personal data in respect of all employees of RMS has to be kept updated, current and accurate. Therefore, it is the personal responsibility of every employee at all levels to keep DHRM updated regarding his/her personal information and changes thereof after his/her last updation in the record. Any changes occurred in name, home address (permanent/temporary), email ID, CNIC validation date, mobile & landline numbers, next of kin, marital status, number of dependents (increase/decrease), enhancement of education, experience or any other pertinent information must promptly be notified to DHRM.

Y E A R S EMPLOYEE PUNCTUALITY POLICY A good, professional and disciplined employee is the one who is punctual and adhere to the officially announced timings of the school/college/branch/campus/organization/offices he/she is employed with as per Millennium Staff and Teachers Handbook. All employees of RMS are required to be in their respective place of duty including RMS RO/HO/School/Branch/Campus/College or any other setup being run under the flagship of RMS well before the start of the office/school/college timings. Late comings will not be tolerated and all teachers will be subject to the RMS Duty Teacher ROTA and responsibility on weekly basis.

Y E A R S NO SMOKING POLICY A No Smoking Policy shall prevail in all of the RMS premises and within its owned or leased vehicles. It is the responsibility of the BH/HM/Principal/HODs and all Senior Management to enforce No Smoking Policy at all time. As a globally responsible school we recognize the hazards caused by exposure to environment by tobacco smoke, as well as the life-threatening diseases linked to the use of all forms of tobacco, it is our policy to provide a tobacco-free environment for all students, employees and visitors. This policy covers the smoking of any tobacco product and the use of oral tobacco products or spit tobacco, and it applies to both teachers/employees and non-employee visitors of RMS.

Y E A R S EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE POLICY All HODs/BH/HM/Principal will keep a record of employee punctuality through attendance register maintained by the school manager or online attendance procedure. If an employee is frequently late without any acceptable reason, the HODs/BH/HM/Principal will intimate the DHRM about the frequency of such repeated occurrences and any intended action to be taken as corrective disciplinary action. RMS views attendance as one of the most important facets of the job performance review.
