Features include: Secure repository for Faculty employment, degrees, courses, and certifications and licenses information. Online submission, status tracking, and evaluation outcomes in one online tool. Step-by-step form submission process with help aids to ensure completion and correctness. Built-in reminders for Faculty to provide required documentation with submissions. INSTRUCTIONS Under Resources on the left-side menu, you will find an Instruction page to help you use this online tool. Refer back to these instructions at any time. REGISTRATION PROCESS When you initially go to the URL for this Web site, you will be asked to register. This process will enable you to set up your account and password. Click Register. REGISTRATION PROCESS Fill in the open fields required for registration. Read the End-User License Agreement and put a check mark in the box next to I agree. Click the Register button. REGISTRATION PROCESS When this message appears, your registration is being processed. An email notification will be sent to the email address you have provided above. REGISTRATION PROCESS You will receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. This confirms your email address and password. You can change your password at a later date. To activate your account, click on the URL provided at the bottom of the email. REGISTRATION PROCESS You will be taken to a login page with your email address pre-filled in. Enter the password you have chosen during registration. If you forget your password in the future, click Forgot your password? to initiate a new password. REGISTRATION PROCESS You have now completed the registration process and will be brought to your Personal Profile page. The next series of screens start from this page on Page 4. PERSONAL PROFILE Each time you log in, you will be brought to your Personal Profile page to verify your personal information. You may also change your password from this screen. The wrench symbol enables you to edit the data in that area. Click on the wrench symbol next to Basic Contact Information. BASIC CONTACT INFORMATION Fill out the Basic Contact Information as completely as possible. This information will be used to serve you with this online tool. Select the institution(s) where you are currently employed. NOTE: those institutions will need to confirm your employment in order for you to proceed to submitting forms to them. Save your information before proceeding to another page. DETERMINATION SUMMARY From your Personal Profile page, you can View Determination Summary. This page summarizes the Step, Column, and Credentialing determinations that have been made for you based on submissions you have made using this online tool. MY INFORMATION If you expand the My Information menu at the left of your screen, you will find your Personal Profile listed along with three other choices. Click Previous Employment. Here is where your employment history will display. Click Add Previous Employment to add information to this section. ADD PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT This page is a form where you can enter your previous employment information. You will need to get your employment verified by your previous employer. You can download a form from this page (where it says Click here to download form. ) that you can send each employer for their verification. ADD PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT Directions on the right help you in filling out the form. For more information, move your cursor over the question mark symbol to reveal more about what each field means. Start date and end date are made easier to enter using the popup calendar. Select the month, year, and day and it will fill in the appropriate date. ADD PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT The calendar is particularly useful for entering End Dates. If the end date is today, click the words at the bottom of the calendar (e.g., Today: 10/10/06 ) If you are presently employed by this employer, click the word Present from the calendar. ADD PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT When you are done adding previous employers, click on the tab Previous Employment or choose this menu item from the left-side menu. You will now see your information entered as part of your history. The symbols to the right of the entry (magnifying glass, wrench, or X) indicate that you can View this item, Edit this item, or Delete this item, resp. EDUCATIONAL DEGREES Click on the tab for Educational Degrees and then click on Add a New Degree. Fill out the form for each degree you want to put into your history. Save after each entry. NOTE: If you have a foreign transcript, there is a link to follow from the informational text. EDUCATIONAL COURSES Click on the tab for Educational Courses and then click on Add a New Course. Fill out the form for each degree you want to put into your history. This online tool uses prescriptive text to automatically suggest previously entered text strings (highlighted at left). This is particularly helpful if you need to enter the name of a college or university more than once. Save after each entry. CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES Click on the tab for Certifications and Licenses and then click on Add a New Certificate or License. SUBMIT A FORM Under My Forms in the left-side navigation, you have the opportunity to submit forms for evaluation by Human Resources. Click Add a New Salary Placement Evaluation Form CREATE SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION FORM Select the college to which you want to submit this form. Colleges that have confirmed your employment with them will be listed in the pull-down menu choices. Click Create Salary Placement Evaluation Form. SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION Pages 9-12 take you through the process of submitting a form for Salary Placement Evaluation. If you need to update anything, go back to your Personal Profile and use the edit function. If they have been previously verified by HR, you will see a lock symbol next to the item. An unlocked symbol indicates HR still needs to verify this course information. SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION FORM CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES TAB If you have entered certification and license items into your certifications and licenses history, you will see them listed here. If they have been previously verified by HR, you will see a lock symbol next to the item. An unlocked symbol indicates HR still needs to verify this employment. Select certification and license item(s) you wish to include for submission. SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION FORM FINALIZE TAB The Finalize Tab summarizes all tasks you need to finish before your submission for Salary Placement Evaluation will be complete. You can print this page for reference by clicking on the Print button at the bottom of the page. If you are ready to submit the form, click the Submit Form button at the bottom of the page. SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION FORM SUBMIT CONFIRMATION When you submit the Salary Placement Evaluation Form, you will receive this on-screen confirmation. SUBMIT A FORM Returning to the Submit a Form page from the left-side menu, you will see the Salary Placement Evaluation Form that you have just submitted listed here. The form has a Pending status, meaning that HR has not yet reviewed the form. The magnifying glass icon indicates that you View the form. Click on the Documents to Submit icon to see a summary of the documents you need to submit with your form. DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT This page summarizes all the documents you must submit in order for HR to evaluate your Salary Placement Form. Documents can include transcripts, credential/ license documentation, and employer verification of employment. SALARY PLACEMENT EVALUATION FORM GENERAL TAB Verify your personal information. This is pulled directly from your personal profile. If you need to update anything, go back to your Personal Profile and use the edit function. QUALIFICATION EVALUATION Like Salary Placement Evaluation, you will proceed from tab to tab, selecting items from your Employment, Degrees, Courses, and Certifications & Licenses history to submit with your form. Again, items that are locked have already been verified by HR and do not require any additional documentation from you. After making your selections, click the Finalize tab to see if there are any outstanding items to complete. QUALIFICATION EVALUATION FORM FINALIZE TAB The Finalize Tab summarizes all tasks you need to finish before your submission for Qualification Evaluation will be complete. You can print this page for reference by clicking on the Print button at the bottom of the page. If you are ready to submit the form, click the Submit Form button at the bottom of the page. FORM SUBMISSION HISTORY Navigate to Form Submission History from the left-side navigation. Here you will be able to review a history of Salary Placement and Credentialing Evaluation submissions you have made using this online tool and the determinations made about them. This page will display submissions that have been acted on by HR. To see a status of Pending submissions, go to Submit a Form from the left-side navigation.
