Testimonials Melanie Hendricks, CMA, CCP July 2008 I am a graduate of their intensive Certified Coding Professional course and I am of the opinion PHIA meets, and exceeds, the standards of other coding organizations. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accessible. All their presentations are thorough and current on coding changes and guidelines. I never hesitate to recommend the organization to other medical professionals. Association with PHIA is an asset to any organization or individual. Julie Breedlove, CCP, CMBS, CMPM December 2009 Our employees that are PHIA graduates have grown in experience and value to our billing department. They continue to research and educate themselves on the ever changing environment of Coding and the insurance industry. Finding educated and reliable employees seems to be the challenge in the medical industry for 2009. If a candidate has a PHIA staff member recommendation along with their certification, my experience is they will excel within the practice and bring a level of professionalism to the billing department. Cathy Hargis, CCP,CPC July 2006 PHIA is a highly professional and skilled organization and quick to respond to any coding questions. They offer all the classes needed to obtain certification and also classes to help keep your certification current. I am very pleased to be a part of this organization. I took my accreditation course through them several years ago. The class was very structured and comprehensive and the test was strictly monitored. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone who is interested in obtaining certification for coding and billing. Debbie King, CMBS, CCP January 2010 I personally have received two certifications through this facility. Their certification courses are very intense and instructive. Their information is always precise, concise, and up to date. They provide illustrations necessary to help the students learn. No question is left unanswered, even if it requires personal time between instructor and student. The teaching staff is exceptional; Sherry Thomas and Tammy Rannels are experts in their field. My business partner and staff have attended educational programs and earned certifications through PHIA. I have no doubt that all future employees of our company will be well blessed by this teaching facility. PHIA knows how to have their students learn in a comfortable atmosphere. They truly make learning fun. 56
