WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT EFFICIENT ESTIMATING,, AND WORK SCHEDULING Effective project management requires the ability to identify tasks and manage those tasks through their complete lifecycle. The CASCADE Work Order Management capability seamlessly captures and reports the status of work and integrates work order processes with the other primary CASCADE processes, and interfaces with the corporate systems responsible for time collection, financial reporting and client billing. The standard process flow that transitions work orders from inception through completion is aligned with best practices established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). As scheduled events occur, CASCADE automatically initiates work order processes that enable the project to manage all aspects of service delivery and provide customers with consistent, reliable results. WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT DOCUMENT CONTROL The management, control, and presentation of information generated outside of the system (e.g. vendor manuals, specification sheets, preventive maintenance procedures, manufacturer specification data sheets (MSDS), drawings, technical references) is a critical function within CASCADE. The Document Control technology provides the ability to organize, maintain, and present imaged information as part of the primary processes within the system. Documents can easily be attached to equipment, work orders, inventory or accounts payable allowing users to view any document relevant to their activities when performing the various functions within CASCADE. ASSET / PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING, BETTER ASSET PERFORMANCE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE The goal of preventive maintenance is to keep equipment assets running with minimal disruption. Preventive maintenance is performed based upon comprehensive, pre defined procedures that are individually scheduled for each equipment asset. As scheduled events occur, work orders are generated to perform the specified work, and the materials required to complete the work order are requested. As maintenance work orders are completed, the results are captured by the work order closeout process and reported through the Reporting Dashboard. The dashboard provides the capability to perform detailed analysis of equipment history and predict maintenance that might proactively address equipment issues, reduce system failures, and prevent process disruption. CASCADE Equipment maintenance processes support a proactive approach to maintaining equipment availability. Integration of Equipment Maintenance with Work Order and Performance Management capabilities provides visibility into maintenance history and costs for each equipment asset.

ASSET / PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE When corrective maintenance is required to repair equipment items, work orders can be generated at any installed location. The results of the work are captured in the equipment history for the asset. EFFICIENT PROCESS The Material Request serves as the issue ticket when the required stock is on hand in the warehouse. If the required materials are not available in the warehouse, the system generates a requisition for them, which is handled by the CASCADE Procurement processes. There is a constant exchange of information between Procurement, Warehouse, and Work Order as the receipt of equipment and shipment to the point of installation is tracked. PROCUREMENT ACCURATE BUDGET PROJECTIONS FOR REQUISITIONS, BIDS, AND PURCHASE ORDERS The Procurement processes built into CASCADE ensure a smooth transition from requisition, to Bid, to purchase order. Requisitions may be generated by either of two methods. In the first method, requisitions are generated based on materials required for fulfilling work orders. In the second method, requisitions are generated based on contracts that feed into the supply chain. The procurement lifecycle is managed by means of an automated approval process that is based on industry best practices. A workflow transitions the requisition from initial approval through generation of an approved purchase order. The CASCADE user interface provides complete visibility into the workflow progress of all procurements and eliminates the need for paper forms, file storage, and retrieval of paper records. If required materials are not in stock, a requisition enters the Procurement process where the purchase is approved and conducted in accordance with procurement policies. Receipt and issue of purchased materials is handled by the Inventory Control processes.

PROCUREMENT SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT The system builds a file of information on approved product vendors, manufacturers, shipping codes, points of contact, addresses, and other related information. When items are received from a supplier, CASCADE compares the receipts with the terms and conditions of each purchase order to verify conformance. When a non conformance is identified, an Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) process provides email notifications to designated personnel for resolution. This receiving information feeds the Vendor Scorecard used for monitoring the performance of each supplier. Invoice payments can be processed through the CASCADE Accounts Payable Module or interfaces to legacy financial systems may be implemented to for this purpose INVENTORY CONTROL POSITIVE ACCOUNTABILITY AND ADEQUATE STOCKPILES Managing equipment assets is often a critical and required function on our projects. Asset tracking begins at the receiving station where most of the customer s contractual guidelines are enforced by the system. CASCADE uses bar code symbologies such as codes128 and 39, PDF417 and others for scanning and printing. CASCADE is RFID and QR Code ready, a capability that is in use today.
