We set technological standards. The requirements demanded of mortar systems have continuously increased over time. The 120 mm COBRA mortar system developed by RUAG is ground-breaking in terms of its user-friendliness and technology. Its innovative electronic drive means the mortar can be deployed quickly and accurately in any situation. Furthermore, the COBRA can be easily integrated in existing platforms and is suitable for modern guided munitions. This hi-tech mortar system also features an integrated auto gun laying system. We develop advanced simulation systems for both live and virtual training to help prepare soldiers for future conflicts. These systems provide effective and realistic training in open and built-up terrains. Our simulation solutions are based on highly developed wound modeling technology and interoperable laser codes. In addition our open approach makes it possible to integrate a wide range of weapons, vehicles and radio systems. Risk is inherent in every mission. To minimise injuries, we develop state-of-the-art technology for unmanned ground vehicles (UGV). UGVs can conduct reconnaissance and surveillance missions autonomously and in the near future will take over rescue and patrol missions. Today, we already have the capability to upgrade various existing vehicles using UGV kits.
We protect sensitive data. The digital world is evolving at a lightning pace, and significant advances in technology are made almost daily. Cyber security is therefore a central issue both for military and civil organisations. If data falls into the wrong hands, it can cause significant and irreparable damage. With our comprehensive cyber security portfolio, we can protect data, identify nuisance network traffic and defend against cyber attacks.
