INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT AREAS BEYOND THE ECONOMIC ACTIVITY ZONE As a result of transformations of the City economy, which involved the restructuring of big state-owned manufacturing enterprises, business opportunities are now opening up in industrial areas. They consist mostly of real estate which includes industrial buildings, warehouses and office buildings. Owner: City of Czêstochowa Area: 37 ha Legal status: settled Property description: the area is situated west of the Monastery of Jasna Góra with good transport connections to all city districts and to the main roads leading from Czêstochowa to Poznañ and Opole. Good public transport service available to the site. In the grounds there are three water reservoirs and there is a park established in the surrounding area. The site serves now as a summer swimming and recreational facility. The area is partly developed (with access roads, utilities, planted trees, sports equipment and a small catering establishment). Technical infrastructure includes water and power supply systems, sanitary sewage system and rainwater drainage. Access: from Jadwigi Street up Kordeckiego Street, also from Sopocka, Orawska, Huculska and Wa³owa Streets. Recommended development: sports and recreation facilities connected with the existing park and water reservoirs (construction of a swimming pools complex and establishment of a water park; construction of a water sports centre, sports fields and other outdoor sports utilities). Form of transfer: the site is offered by the Municipality as a non-cash contribution to a company.

The property, in the shape of a triangle, is served by the trunk roads leading to Poznañ, Kielce, Warsaw and Katowice. Recommended development: the site is intended for tourist services with full transport service and car parks within the boundaries of the offered plot. Construction of a fuel station is excluded.
