The lists were compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm s agents and/or affiliates. This year, more than 250 companies and institutions participated. Reports are that the number of Hispanic-owned businesses in the U.S. is projected to grow to more than 3.16 million this year, a growth of nearly 40% since 2007, said Mona Lisa Faris, president and publisher of the Hispanic Network Magazine. There is little doubt that Hispanic-owned businesses will continue to be a major factor in the economic recovery of the United States. The results are published in the summer issue of the Hispanic Network Magazine, featuring Rita Moreno as the cover story and available on newsstands on August 15, 2014. Published by DiversityComm, the Hispanic Network Magazine is a valuable resource to assist with your multicultural hiring and supplier needs. DiversityComm also publishes the Black EOE Journal, Professional Woman s Magazine and U.S. Veterans Magazine.
