More secure with SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card 3 SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card is more secure than ever with the embedded microchip that provides a high level of security and convenience since the data stored inside the chip is encrypted, preventing fraudulent use of the card. In addition to this, a credit card PIN code will have to be used along with the card to pay for all purchases and for cash withdrawals. 4 How to use your SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card at retail outlet Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals* 1. The cashier will insert your card in the chip-card reader of the POS terminal. 2. The card must stay inside the POS terminal during the processing of the purchase transaction. 3. Wait until the cashier requests you to enter your PIN. 4. Enter your card PIN and wait for the approval response. 5. Once the transaction is approved, collect your sales receipt along with your card from the cashier. * This method is applied only when the POS terminal supports chip-card technology. If the POS terminal does not support this, then the card will have to be swiped using the magnetic stripe. Note: Internet transactions do not require the credit card PIN code. Instead, they can only be performed by entering the 3-digit Customer Verification Value (CVV) found on the back of the card.

9 Payment methods Monthly payments must be made in Saudi Riyals using one of the following methods: 1. Through SABBNET (our Internet banking service www.sabb.com) for SABB Accountholders. 2. Accountholders may also contact us on 800 124 8888. 3. Through the SADAD service using biller ID 029. 4. By wire transfer from any bank to your card number. 5. By providing us with standing instructions, in writing, to directly debit your SABB account and settle your monthly payment due. 6. By visiting any of our branches for cash payment over the counter or through cash deposit machines. 7. By writing a cheque* in favour of your card account and handing it in at any of our branches, or mailing the cheque to: SABB, Card Products Division, P.O. Box 69718, Riyadh 11557 *Cheque payments should be received by the Bank 7 days before the payment due date to avoid the late payment fees.

Once you collect 1,000 points (equivalent to SAR 100), you will be able to redeem the points instantly by swiping your SABB Credit Card at the Point-of-sale machine installed at the cash counter against free purchases at a wide range of merchant partner outlets Kingdom-wide. 12 Free Credit Protection SABB provides you peace of mind with our free of charge Credit Protection shield, it takes care of the burden of your loved ones in the unfortunate event of your total and permanent disability or death by settling the total outstanding balance of your Credit Card. What s more, there are no additional monthly charges levied on you to benefit from this feature. Limit of protection 100% of the outstanding balance up to SAR 75,000 Note: Credit Protection is limited to an aggregate limit of SAR 100,000 on all types of Credit Cards held by the Primary Cardholder. 13 SABB Takaful Credit Protection - Exclusions Primary Cardholders below the age of 18 and above 64 Engaging in or training for any dangerous or hazardous sports, competitions or activities. Hazardous sports or activities may include the following: 1. Any form of aerial flight including light aircraft, monoplanes, ballooning, hang-gliding, parachuting, etc. 2. Winter sports such as sleighing, ski jumping, ice hockey, etc. 3. Water sports such as powerboats, water skiing, jet skiing, diving, etc. 4. Horse riding activities such as hunting, jumping, polo, racing, etc. 5. Climbing activities such as mountaineering, rock-climbing, potholing, abseiling, etc. 6. Participation in any kind of power-vehicle race, rally or competition. 7. Judo, boxing, karate, wrestling and other martial arts of any kind. 8. Bungee jumping. 14 Protection Purchase protection Purchase Protection provides short-term insurance protection against theft and specified causes of accidental damage for purchases made with a SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card. If an item covered by purchase protection (whether it s the cardholder s own property or has been given as a gift) is stolen or damaged, benefits will be paid subject to the Terms and Conditions. 15 Extended Warranty The Extended Warranty from SABB Platinum Visa Credit Cards automatically doubles the original manufacturer s warranty up to 24 months (provided the item was bought using your SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card) from the date the item was purchased, whether it s for your own use or bought as a gift. If the retailer or manufacturer won t repair or replace your purchase, just give us a call. 17 Summary of cover Purchase protection Purchase Protection provides coverage against loss or damage that occurs within 90 days of the date of purchase. No registration of the purchase is necessary. If you need to find out the value of an item for a claim, simply contact SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card customer service unit. Protection is subject to an excess of USD 50 (or the equivalent in local currency) for each item and occurrence. Your payout is also subject to any other applicable policies or indemnities you may have. If other guarantees are in place, protection is limited only to the amounts not protected and up to the original purchase price. In no event will this cover guarantee apply as contributing protection. This protection is in excess of all other valid and collectable clauses found in other guarantee or indemnity language. Extended Warranty Items are protected up to the values shown in the Terms and Conditions. The loss or damage must occur within 30 days of the date of purchase and no registration of the purchase is necessary. 18 Claim process Making a claim is easy and can be done in four simple steps: Step 1: Call the claims administrator refer to contact details below Tell the operator you would like to make a Purchase Protection or Extended Warranty insurance claim They will ask you for your Platinum Visa Credit Card number, so have it ready Step 2: The appropriate claim form is sent for you to complete. Step 3: You submit the claim form to the claims administrators for processing together with the receipts for the transactions or your Visa card statement. Step 4: If the claim is approved, the claims administrator will pay the funds into your nominated account. 20 Baggage protection Summary of benefits Eligible persons Holders of a valid SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card issued by SABB, their spouse and 3 children up to 18 years (23 years if in full-time education). Insured journey In order to be considered an insured journey, the total travel fare incurred by the Cardholder in respect of himself and other insured persons accompanying the Cardholder should have been charged to his/her SABB Platinum Visa Credit Card. Delayed baggage allowance Indemnity for the costs of emergency purchases in the event that personal luggage which is checkedin and in the custody of the commercial airline fails to arrive within 10 hours after the Cardholder has reached his scheduled destination. This includes essential clothes and personal care products only. Lost baggage allowance Indemnity for checked-in personal baggage lost, stolen or destroyed during an insured journey. Limit of indemnity Delayed baggage Up to a maximum of SAR 1,125 for the Cardholder or SAR 2,250 for the Cardholder and family*. 22 There is no coverage for theft or damage caused by fraud, abuse, vermin, alteration (including cutting, sawing, shaping), war or hostilities of any kind (for example, invasion, rebellion, or insurrection), terror, confiscation by any government, public authority or customs official, items of contraband, losses arising from illegal activities or acts, normal wear and tear, radioactive contamination, natural disasters (including but not limited to flood, hurricane or earthquake), mysterious disappearance (mysterious disappearance means the item vanishing in an unexplained manner marked by the absence of evidence of the wrongful act of another) or inherent product defect Jewellery or any object made of gold or platinum, as well as pearls or precious stones.
