Any accidental Damage such as broken LCD screen, broken keyboard, water damage etc. will be covered under this policy with a flat excess fee of only $100. We recommend that the device is listed under your home insurance to be covered in the event of a theft. Payments Options Ordering and Payments for the 2015 notebooks will be made via the schools online notebook purchasing page located at https://shop.wssc.vic.edu.au. Multiple payment options are available including online bank transfer, credit card payments and CentrePay payment plan. If you don t have access to a computer, you are able to complete the process at the Senior College office. Students using privately purchased devices at WSSC All students must participate in one of the 3 programs. These 3 options will have all the required software and will be dynamically updated when new software is required for individual classes. All subject areas have very specific software requirements that the school has site licences for, as such all students are required to bring the correct resources to class at all times. This includes the correct text books and computer devices. Students are able to complement their school purchased device with a privately owned device such as a tablet computer. This is not a replacement option and both devices will need to be brought to class at all times.

2015 Notebook Program Options. Wodonga Senior Secondary College has a strong curriculum based around the use of Mobile Learning Devices. The school is committed to every student having access to a notebook computer and as such have the following 3 options available. Options 1 & 2 include devices with a touch screen, 2 in 1 Tablet design and 3 years onsite warranty. Also included is an Accidental Damage Policy (ADP) that will cover accidental damage such as, broken screens, keyboards, hinges etc. with a capped excess of $100 for each claim (Maximum 2 claims per calendar year. Option 1. Opt In Ultrabook with Touch screen Following the great success of the 2014 Ultrabook Opt in program, this is our recommended option for 2015. The Option 1 Opt in Ultrabook provides the speed of a full sized notebook in a compact and lightweight package, it includes an 11Inch screen and flips to become a tablet. Perfect for students who want access to all multimedia and video editing software, has a full days battery life, touch screen and easy to carry around Option 2. Opt in Multimedia notebook with HD Touch screen On offer is the next generation of notebook that was offered in 2014. This device is very similar to the Ultrabook, but has a 13inch screen and an integrated pen for drawing directly on the notebooks screen. The Multimedia notebook is an ideal device for students who are heavily involved with Multimedia applications and require a device with a large LCD screen and High definition resolution. Option 3. Transfer of WMYC Lenovo X220i If the above 2 options are unable to work for families and you have a Lenovo x220i or MacBook from the Wodonga Middle Years College, we are able to transfer your final payment to the Senior College. You will be required to re image your notebook before use at the Senior College. It s important to note that these devices will have no Manufacturer s Warranty, Accidental Damage cover or Insurance policy. WSSC Desktop Computers We will also be keeping a fleet of High End Desktop computers for use in classrooms where subjects may require access to video editing, digital photography, advance programming applications and larger LCD screens.
