Program of Study 4 Building Blocks In addition to developing an understanding of the sophisticated nature and inter-relationship among the basic functional areas of business, the MBA program emphasizes executive skills development in the following primary areas: > Leadership > Communications > Decision-making > Self-awareness > Analysis and Synthesis > Critical Thinking The program utilizes a holistic and strategic approach in dealing with organizational problems. Thus, functional areas of business are considered in the context of the organizational whole, while maintaining a global perspective, and providing a multi-stakeholder, rather than a single-interest, approach. Furthermore, a strategic, long-run perspective is stressed rather than a short-run, tactical view. A balance between cognitive and affective learning is also sought.
