FAQs Am I covered for theft if I eave my car unocked? We wi not pay a caim for theft if your car is: eft unocked; eft with keys or key fobs in, on, or attached; eft with the engine running; eft with a window or roof open. How much wi you pay if my car is damaged? If your car is damaged, we wi pay the cost of repairing or repacing your vehice up to its UK market vaue. This is the current vaue of the vehice at the time of the caim and it may be different to the amount you paid or any amounts we spoke about when you insured your vehice with us. Am I covered if I drive other cars? We wi cover you for damage caused to third parties whist you are driving cars that are not your own, provided you meet certain conditions (see Section A). This cover does not incude damage to the car you are driving and appies ony to the poicyhoder and not to any named drivers on the poicy. Your certificate of insurance wi show if you have this benefit. Am I covered if I eave my keys in my car? We wi not pay a caim if your car is: eft unocked; eft with keys or key fobs in, on, or attached; eft with the engine running; eft with a window or roof open. What is DriveSure? Where do I fit my DriveSure Pug-in? The DriveSure Pug-in is fitted to the On-board Diagnostics socket (OBD) in your car. FAQs 3 How does my No Caim Discount work? No Caim Discount (NCD) If no caim is made against your poicy, your renewa premium wi be adjusted in accordance with our NCD scae appicabe at the renewa date. However, if a caim is made against your poicy, we may reduce your NCD. Taking advantage of this dea coudn t be easier. To transfer the NDNCD the named driver needs to go to our website or ca us and identify the poicy on which they have earned this discount by giving your name, date of birth, postcode and either your poicy number or vehice registration. They can ony use this whist your poicy is ive, or up to 90 days after it has ended. The NDNCD may be ower than the NCD avaiabe to you as the main poicy hoder and may not be recognised by other insurers.

What changes do I need to te you about? You must te us if any of the foowing detais change before you need cover to start: you change your car; you modify your car (pease see genera condition 8 for further detais); you add another driver to your poicy or amend the driving restriction; you change the use of your car (e.g. change from socia domestic and peasure to business use); you wish to increase your cover (e.g. change from third party ony to comprehensive); You must te us as soon as possibe if any of the foowing detais change: the address where you normay keep your car; if you, or anyone covered by this poicy change jobs, incuding part time; if you, or anyone covered by this poicy passes their UK driving test. Any change during the period of insurance may resut in an additiona or return premium and may be subject to an administration fee. See genera condition 4 for further detais. You must te us before the next renewa date (or at the time you are making any of the changes aready mentioned) if you or anyone covered by this poicy have: had insurance canceed by an insurer. This incudes a poicy decared nu and void as though it has never existed, a renewa decined by an insurer or a poicy canceed by an insurer due to, but not restricted to, non-payment, fraud or misrepresentation; had any accidents, thefts or osses (whether a caim was reported or not and regardess of bame); had any motoring offences incuding convictions, endorsements, penaty points, fixed penaties (excuding parking penaties), speed camera offences, disquaifications or crimina prosecutions pending. Faiure to provide correct information or inform us of any changes coud adversey affect your poicy, incuding invaidating your poicy or caims being rejected or not fuy paid. Dupicate Documents If you request a dupicate certificate of motor insurance, the charges vary: Standard system generated documents sent by Standard post is free of charge. Documents sent by fax or First Cass post is 9.54 (incuding insurance premium tax, where appicabe). Documents sent by Specia Deivery post is 14.90 (incuding insurance premium tax, where appicabe). 5FAQs How does your uninsured driver promise work? If you make a caim for an accident that is not your faut and the driver of the car that hits your car is not insured, you wi not ose your No Caim Discount or have to pay any excess. This promise is for comprehensive poicyhoders ony. Conditions We wi need: the car registration number and the make and mode of the car; and the driver s detais, if possibe. It aso heps us to confirm who is at faut if you can get the names and addresses of any independent witnesses, if avaiabe. When you caim you may have to pay your excess. Aso, if when your renewa is due, investigations are sti ongoing, you may ose your No Caim Discount temporariy. However, once we confirm that the accident was the faut of the uninsured driver we wi repay your excess, restore your No Caim Discount and refund any extra premium you have paid.

Your poicy wording This poicy booket gives fu detais of your cover. You shoud read it aong with your motor proposa confirmation, certificate of motor insurance and schedue. Pease keep a your documents in a safe pace. Your poicy is made up of: the motor proposa confirmation; this poicy booket from pages 6 30; the certificate of motor insurance; the schedue; and Teematics terms and conditions (sent via e-mai, to DriveSure customers ony). We promise to aways be fair and reasonabe and to act quicky whenever you need to make a caim under this poicy. If you fee we have not met this promise, we wi do everything possibe to dea with your compaint quicky and fairy. This poicy is evidence of the contract between you and us, U K Insurance Limited, based on information you have given to us. In return for receiving and accepting the premium, we wi provide insurance under this poicy for the sections shown in the schedue as appying for the accident, injury, oss or damage which has happened in the territoria imits during the period of insurance. Under European aw, you and we may choose which aw wi appy to this contract. Engish aw wi appy uness you and we agree otherwise. If you are resident in Jersey, Jersey aw appies to your poicy and any dispute in reation to it wi be within the jurisdiction of the Jersey courts. We have suppied this Agreement and other information to you in Engish and we wi continue to communicate with you in Engish. We have not given you a persona recommendation as to whether this poicy is suitabe for your specific needs. 6Your Poicy

Your Poicy Poicy definitions Wherever the foowing words or expressions appear in your poicy, they have the meaning given here uness we say differenty. Accessories parts or products specificay designed to be fitted to your car. We may treat some accessories as modifications, so pease te us about any aterations to your car. Approved repairer a repairer in our network of contracted repairers, who is approved by us to perform repairs to your car foowing a caim under section B and C of this poicy. Approved windscreen suppier a repairer we have approved and authorised to repair or repace your windscreen as shown on your schedue and certificate of motor insurance. Certificate of motor insurance this document provides evidence that you have taken out the insurance you must have by aw. It identifies who can drive your car and the purposes for which your car can be used. Convertibe these are motor vehices in which the roof is removabe and/or can retract and are often referred to as cabrioets, roadsters and/or soft/hard tops. Convictions these incude a motoring convictions, fixed penaties or disquaifications incuding points and speed camera offences. Courtesy car a temporary hire car provided to you by an approved repairer under Section Ji foowing a caim under sections B and C of this poicy. Excess the amount you must pay towards any caim. Period of Insurance as shown on the certificate of motor insurance or schedue. Imported car a car that may have been registered in the UK but which was not originay buit to be sod in the UK. Loss of any imb severance at or above the wrist or anke, or the tota and irrecoverabe oss of use of a hand, arm, foot or eg. Market vaue the cost of repacing your car with another of the same make and mode and of a simiar age and condition at the time of the accident or oss. Misfueing the accidenta fiing of the fue tank with inappropriate fue for your car. Modifications any changes to your car s standard specification, incuding optiona extras. These incude, but are not restricted to, changes to the appearance and/or the performance of your car (incuding whees, suspension, bodywork and engine) and incude changes made to your car by the previous owner(s). Motor proposa confirmation the document recording the statements made and information you gave or which was given for you when you bought your poicy. Partner your husband, wife or someone you are iving with as if you are married to them. 7

Poicy this poicy booket, schedue, motor proposa confirmation and certificate of motor insurance. Road Traffic Act any Acts, aws or reguations, which govern the driving or use of any motor vehice in Great Britain, Northern Ireand, the Ise of Man and the Channe Isands. Schedue the document that identifies the poicyhoder and sets out detais of the cover your poicy provides. Terms a terms, exceptions, conditions and imits which appy to your poicy. Track day when your car is driven on a racing track, on an airfied or at an off-road event. Traier any form of traier that has been speciay buit to be towed by a motor car. We, us, our U K Insurance Limited. You, your the person named as the poicyhoder in the schedue. If section H is incuded on the schedue, this definition is extended under that section to incude authorised drivers as shown in the certificate of motor insurance and any passengers. Your car the car described in the current schedue. In section B Damage to your car and section C Fire and theft, the term car aso incudes its accessories and spare parts, whether they are on or in the car, or in your ocked private garage. Your Poicy 8

Your Poicy Section A Liabiity to other peope 1a Cover for you We wi cover you for your ega iabiity to other peope arising from an accident which invoves your car and: you ki or injure someone; you damage someone ese s property. This cover aso appies to an accident invoving a traier or vehice you are towing. 1b Driving other cars If your certificate of motor insurance says so, this poicy provides the same cover as above in 1a when you are driving any other motor car as ong as you do not own it and it is not hired to you under a hire-purchase or easing agreement. This cover ony appies if: there is no other insurance in force which covers the same iabiity; you have the owner s permission to drive the car; the car is registered in and being driven in Great Britain, Northern Ireand, the Ise of Man or the Channe Isands; and you sti have your car and it has not been damaged beyond cost-effective repair. Note There is no cover under cause 1b for damage, fire or theft to the car you are driving. 2 Cover for other peope We wi aso provide the cover under section 1a for: anyone insured by this poicy to drive your car, as ong as they have your permission; anyone you aow to use but not drive your car; anyone who is in or getting into or out of your car; the empoyer or business partner of anyone covered by this section whie your car is being used for business purposes provided your certificate of motor insurance aows business use; or the ega persona representative of anyone covered under this section if that person dies. 3 Costs and expenses a. Lega costs If there is an accident covered by this poicy, we have the option entirey at our discretion to pay the reasonabe ega costs and/or expenses to defend or represent you or any driver covered by this poicy: at a coroner s inquest or fata accident inquiry and/or in crimina proceedings arising out of the accident. We must agree to a ega costs and/or expenses beforehand. If we agree to pay such ega costs and/or expenses, we wi advise you as to the extent of any assistance we wi give. b. Emergency medica treatment We wi pay for emergency treatment fees as set out in the Road Traffic Act. If we make a payment under this section ony, it wi not affect your no caim discount. 4 Payments made outside the terms of the poicy If we must make a payment because the aws of any country require us to do so, we may recover from you, or the person who is iabe any payment that is not covered by this poicy. This incudes any amount that we woud not otherwise be required to pay as a resut of your faiure to provide accurate information. 9

Exceptions to Section A What is not covered We wi not cover: oss of or damage to any car you drive or any traier or vehice you tow; anyone who has other insurance covering the same iabiity; death or injury to anyone whie they are working with or for the driver of the car; except as set out in the Road Traffic Act; damage caused by any driver insured by this poicy to any property they own or are responsibe for; iabiity for more than 20,000,000 for any caim or series of caims for oss of or damage to property incuding any indirect oss or damage caused by one event (incuding a costs and expenses); iabiity caused by acts of terrorism as defined in the Terrorism Act 2000 except as is stricty required under the Road Traffic Act; ega costs or expenses reated to charges connected with speeding, driving under the infuence of acoho or drugs, or for parking offences; any injury, ega iabiity, oss or destruction of or damage to any property or any associated oss or expense that arises directy or indirecty as a resut of: a. grinding, cutting, weding or sodering operations and/or b. use of bow amps or torches on or in your car. Section B Damage to your car What is covered If your car is damaged, we have the option to: pay to repair the damage or repair the damage ourseves; repace what is ost or damaged, if this is more cost-effective than repairing it; or sette your caim by sending you a cheque or by bank transfer. The most we wi pay We wi not pay more than the market vaue of your car at the time of the oss (ess any excess that may appy). What is not covered We wi not cover: the draining, fushing and repenishing of the fue from your car, in the event of misfueing. the sum of a excesses shown on the schedue. These may incude the own damage excesses and young or inexperienced driver excesses if these appy. An inexperienced driver is a person who has hed a fu driving icence for ess than one year. Your Poicy Section C Fire and theft What is covered If your car is ost or damaged as a resut of theft, attempted theft, fire, ightning or exposion, we have the option to: pay to repair the damage or repair the damage ourseves; repace what is ost or damaged if this is more cost-effective than repairing it; or sette your caim by sending you a cheque or by bank transfer. The most we wi pay We wi not pay more than the market vaue of your car at the time of the oss (ess any excess that may appy). What is not covered We wi not cover: the excess shown in the schedue, uness your car is stoen from a private ocked garage; oss or damage to your car as a resut of someone acquiring it by fraud or trickery whie pretending to be a buyer; oss or damage caused by theft or attempted theft if the keys and/or other devices which unock your car and/or enabe your car to be started and driven are eft in or on your car which is unattended, or if your car has been eft unattended and not propery ocked (this incudes any window, roof opening, removabe roof pane or hood being eft open or unocked); oss or damage caused by theft or attempted theft to readiy removabe in-car eectronic equipment uness it is in a gove compartment or a ocked boot. In which case we wi provide cover up to the amount shown in the schedue; oss or damage if any security or tracking device, which we insist is fitted to your car, has not been set or is not in fu working order; oss or damage if the network subscription, for any tracking device which we insist is fitted to your car, is not current and operabe; or oss or damage if the driver recognition device for any tracking device which we insist is fitted to your car, is eft in or on your car whist unattended. 11

Section D Windscreen damage What is covered We wi pay to: repace or repair broken gass in the windscreen, sunroof or windows of your car, and repair any scratching to the bodywork caused by the broken gass, as ong as there has not been any other oss or damage to your car; or repace the roof and rear windscreen assemby together if your car is fitted with a foding roof and it is more cost-effective than repacing the gass aone. Caims under this section wi not affect your no caim discount. The most we wi pay We wi not pay more than the market vaue of your car at the time of the oss (ess any excess that may appy). What is not covered We wi not cover: the excess shown in the schedue; or any amount greater than the imit shown in the schedue if you do not use an approved windscreen suppier. Your Poicy 12

Your Poicy Exceptions which appy to Sections B, C and D What is not covered We wi not cover: oss or damage caused by wear and tear or oss of vaue; any part of a repair or repacement which improves your car beyond its condition before the oss or damage took pace; any mechanica, eectrica or computer faiure, breakdown or breakage; damage to tyres caused by braking, punctures, cuts or bursts; damage caused by pressure waves from an aircraft or other fying object traveing at or beyond the speed of sound; deiberate damage caused to your car by anyone insured under this poicy; oss of use or other indirect oss such as trave costs or oss of earnings; oss or damage to any traier or vehice, or their contents, whie being towed by your car; oss or damage to your car if, at the time of the incident, it was being driven or used without your permission by someone in your famiy or someone who is iving with you (this exception does not appy if the person driving is reported to the poice for taking your car without your permission); any amount over that shown in the schedue for oss of or damage to permanenty fitted in-car audio, teevision, phone, CB radio, games-consoe or eectronic-navigation equipment (if the equipment is part of your car specification when first registered, we wi provide unimited cover); oss or damage to any speed assessment equipment detection device; oss or damage due to any government, pubic or oca authority egay taking, keeping or destroying your car; any reduction to the market vaue of your car as a resut of it being repaired. 13

Conditions which appy to Sections B, C and D Hire-purchase, easing and other agreements If your car is currenty on a hire purchase or financing agreement (except easing) we wi sette the caim by paying the ega owner. We wi ony pay you any remaining baance if ownership of your car is to be transferred to you at the end of the hire purchase or financing agreement. If your car is on a easing agreement, we wi sette the caim by paying the ega owner. 2 Parts We may decide to repair your car with parts which have not been made by your car s manufacturer but which are of a simiar standard, incuding recyced parts. If any part or accessory is not avaiabe, the most we wi pay for that part wi be the cost shown in the manufacturer s ast United Kingdom price ist (pus reasonabe fitting costs). 3 Removing and deivering your car If your car cannot be driven as a resut of oss or damage covered under this poicy, we wi pay the reasonabe cost of taking it to the nearest suitabe repairer. We wi aso pay the reasonabe cost of deivering your car to you at the address shown in the schedue after it has been repaired. We may put your car in safe storage, before it is repaired, sod or taken for scrap. We wi pay the reasonabe cost of storage. Foowing an accident, we wi hep you and your passengers make arrangements to get home, to your origina destination or take you to a safe pace. 4 Repairs If our approved repairers carry out the repairs, you do not need an estimate. Repairs carried out by our approved repairers are guaranteed for five years uness you se your car. You can arrange for reasonabe and necessary repairs to be carried out at a repairer of your choice. However, you must give us fu detais of the incident and we must approve the detaied repair estimate before the work begins. Uness repairs are carried out by our approved repairers they are NOT guaranteed by us even though we may pay for those repairs directy. 5 Uneconomica repairs If your car is uneconomica to repair (written off) and we agree to sette your caim on that basis, you sti owe the fu yeary premium as we wi have met a our responsibiities to you under the poicy. Once we sette your caim, your car wi become our property and you must send us the registration document. A cover wi then end uness we agree differenty. We wi not refund any of your premium. Your Poicy Section E Persona accident What is covered We wi pay you or your ega representatives if you or your partner are accidentay injured whie traveing in or getting into or out of any car, and this injury aone resuts within three caendar months of the date of the accident, in: death; tota irrecoverabe oss of sight in one or both eyes; or oss of any imb. We wi pay the benefit shown in the schedue. What is not covered We wi not cover: any injury or death resuting from suicide or attempted suicide; anyone who is convicted for driving whie under the infuence of drink or drugs at the time of the accident; or an injured person under this poicy if we insure them against persona accident under any other car insurance poicy. The most we wi pay in any period of insurance is one benefit shown in the schedue. 15

Section F Other benefits 1 Medica expenses We wi pay medica expenses up to the amount shown in the schedue for each person injured if your car is in an accident, as ong as there is no cover in force under another car insurance poicy. 2 Persona beongings We wi pay for oss of, or damage to, cothing and persona beongings caused by fire, theft, attempted theft or accident, whie they are in or on your car. The most we wi pay for any one incident is the amount shown in the schedue. If you ask us to pay someone ese, we wi have no further responsibiity to you once we have done so. What is not covered We wi not cover oss of or damage to: money, credit or debit cards, stamps, tickets, vouchers, documents, securities (such as share and Premium Bond certificates), goods or sampes carried in connection with any trade or business; or property insured under any other poicy. 3 Hote expenses If your car cannot be driven after an accident or oss covered under section B of this poicy, we wi pay up to 40 for the driver (or 80 in tota for a the peope in the car) towards the cost of hote expenses for an overnight stay if this is necessary. 4 New car cover If your car is ess than one year od and you are the first and ony registered owner, we wi repace it with one of the same make and mode if it has: been stoen and not found; or suffered damage covered by the poicy and the cost of repairing it is more than 60% of the ast United Kingdom ist price, (incuding taxes). We can ony do this if a repacement car is avaiabe in the UK and anyone ese who has an interest in your car agrees. If a suitabe repacement car is not avaiabe, or your car was not suppied as new in the UK, we wi pay you the market vaue of your car at the time of the oss (ess any excess that may appy). If we sette a caim under this cause, the ost or damaged car becomes our property and you must send us the registration document. 5 Chid car seats If you have a chid car seat fitted to your car and your car is invoved in an accident, damaged by fire or theft or stoen and not recovered, we wi cover you for the cost of repacing the chid car seat with a new one of a simiar standard, even if there is no apparent damage. 6 Lega Advice Hepine A Churchi Motor customers have access to Churchi s 24 hour Lega Advice Hepine for confidentia expert UK ega advice on any motoring ega probem. This service provides advice ony. You must have brought Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Services to receive ega expenses insurance cover. Your Poicy 16

Your Poicy Section G Territoria imits and foreign use 1 Territoria imits This poicy provides the cover described in your schedue in Great Britain, Northern Ireand, the Ise of Man, the Channe Isands and during journeys between these paces. 2 Using your car abroad This poicy aso provides the minimum cover you need by aw to use your car in: any country which is a member of the European Union; and any country isted beow which the Commission of the European Community approves as meeting the requirements of Artice 8 of EC Directive 2009/103/EC on Insurance of Civi Liabiities arising from using motor vehices. Countries incuded: Andorra, Austria, Begium, Bugaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Repubic, Denmark, Estonia, Finand, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceand, Itay, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mata, Netherands, Norway, Poand, Portuga, Repubic of Ireand, Romania, Sovakia, Sovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerand. 3 Extending your poicy cover abroad For an extra premium, your poicy can be extended to provide the same eve of cover as you have in the territoria imits for an agreed period. Your car wi aso be covered during journeys between those countries by a recognised carrier. Cover in these countries ony appies if your permanent home is in the United Kingdom and your visit abroad is for ess than 90 days in a period of insurance. 4 Customs duty If you have to pay customs duty on your car in any of the countries covered in paragraph 2 because of repairs covered under your poicy, we wi pay these costs for you. 17

Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Service (optiona extra) This section ony appies if it is shown on your schedue. This cover can be used if you have a road traffic accident for which you are not to bame that invoves your car. We wi pay the costs to hep you caim from the person who was responsibe for the accident. Definitions The foowing definitions appy to this section and are in addition to those shown on pages 7 and 8 of the poicy. Appointed representative The preferred aw firm, soicitor, or other suitaby quaified person appointed by us to represent you under this section of the poicy. Costs a) A propery incurred, reasonabe and proportionate ega fees, expenses and disbursements charged by the appointed representative and agreed by us. Lega fees, expenses and disbursements wi be assessed on the standard basis or in accordance with any fixed recoverabe costs scheme, if appicabe. b) The fees incurred by your opponent which you are ordered to pay by a court and any other fees we agree to in writing. Court Court, tribuna or other suitabe authority. Preferred aw firm The aw firm we choose to provide ega services. These ega speciaists are chosen as they have the expertise to dea with your caim and must compy with our agreed service standards. Reasonabe prospects of success We and the appointed representative agree that there is a better than 50% chance that you wi: a) obtain a successfu judgment; and b) recover your osses or damages or obtain any other ega remedy we agree to, incuding an enforcement of judgment, making a successfu appea or defence of an appea. Terms of appointment A separate contract which we wi require the appointed representative to enter into with us if the appointed representative is not a preferred aw firm. This contract sets out the amounts we wi pay the appointed representative under your poicy and their responsibiities to report to us at various stages of the caim. Your Poicy Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Service continued b) at the time of the incident, your car is being used by a person identified in, and for a purpose aowed by, your certificate of motor insurance; c) the incident happens within the territoria imits and during a period cover was in force; and d) any ega proceedings wi be carried out within the territoria imits by a court. The most we wi pay, incuding any appea or countercaim, for a caims that arise from the same incident is 100,000 (incuding VAT). Exampes of what you may caim for incude: compensation for your death or injury; oss of earnings; accident repair costs if you do not have comprehensive cover; or damage to any property in your car which you own or are egay responsibe for. Exceptions which appy to Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Service See aso the genera exceptions which appy to the whoe poicy. Any caim arising from or reating to: a) costs that reate to the period before we accept your caim; b) fines, penaties, compensation or damages which you are ordered to pay by a court; c) a dispute with us about this section of the poicy other than as shown under How to compain on page 34; d) oss or damage that is insured under another section of this poicy or any other insurance poicy; e) any appea where we did not provide cover for the origina caim; or f) incidents which begin before the cover started. Conditions which appy to Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Service See aso the genera conditions which appy to the whoe poicy. Genera conditions 2, 3 and 4 on page 27 do not appy to Section H Churchi Lega Assistance Service. 1) Observing the poicy terms You must compy with a of the terms and conditions of this poicy, take a reasonabe precautions to minimise the cost of caims and to prevent a caim from happening. If our position is prejudiced as a resut of you not observing any of the terms and conditions of this poicy, we have the right to: refuse or withdraw from any caim; refuse to pay costs we have aready agreed to meet; and caim back from you costs that we have paid. 2) Reporting your caim a) You must report fu and factua detais of your caim to us within a reasonabe time of it happening. b) You must send us any information that we ask for that is reasonabe and reevant to your caim (you must pay any charges invoved in providing this information). 3) Choosing an appointed representative a) You have the right to choose an appointed representative to safeguard your interests from the time you have the 19
