LOAD BALANCER SPECIFICATIONS Annexure S. No. Specifications General 1 The Proposed solution should include the separate multiple high end enterprise servers for web/application/database. The solution should include licenses for all H/W, Operating Systems, Database and Application Softwares. 2 Load-balancer must have 6 x 1 G Cu interface and option of 2 x 1 G Fiber Interface and 2 x 10 G Fiber ports 3 The proposed solution should be in appliance based solution and not software based solution 4 Load-balancer must have option for dual power supply 5 Load-balancer must support Routed mode, Switched mode and DSR mode of deployment 6 Load-balancer must support graceful activation and shutdown of server 7 Load-balancer must support active-active and active-backup server configuration for load-balancing 8 Load-balancer must support Link-Load balancing 9 Load-balancer must support specific backup configuration server 9 Load-balabncer must support Source-NAT for SLB traffic 10 Load-balancer must have flexibility to select source-nat IP based on Client IP address 11 Load-balancer must have flexibility to config VIP as Source NAT IP 12 The appliance should support X-forwarder option. The appliance should have option to enable x-forwarder option per service to log actual client IP in web server log.

13 The proposed solution should have capability to handle and configure multiple load balancing (Layer 7) protocols on same appliance. The proposed solution should support multiple protocols like http, https, ftp, TCP, TCPS, Radius applications which can be configured with its own profile per service and be able to route the applications independently of server location or network schema, hence more applications will benefit from load balancer services. 14 Load banacer must connection limit per server and per source IP 15 Load balancer must support connection rate limiting 16 Load-balancer must Support IPv6-IPv4 SLB-PT 17 Load balancing should support minimum IP based persistency, session based cookie persistency and headers inspection, URL redirection, hash IP, round robin, shortest repose time and least connections, these are various algorithm support for maximum options and help granular control per service and applications. 18 Dedicate SSL Chipset for SSL Offloading. SSL offloading should be done by dedicated hardware instead of shared of CPU used for load balancing. 19 Load-balancer must support static and dynamic comtent caching 20 Load-balancer must support HTTP Compression 21 Device should include GSLB (Global Server Load Balancer) license/feature can be enabled whenever require without any additional license in future. Performance 1 Load-balancer must 10 Gbps of application throughput (L4) 2 Solution must support 4,50,000 L4 Connection per second 3 Load-balancer must support 32 Million concurrent connection 4 Proposed solution should support 2M HTTP RPS Multi-tenency 1 Load-balancer must support mutiple partition/segment

2 Each Partition must have its own L2/L3 table 3 Patition must be able to support over-lapping IP address 4 Each partition must have different adminstrator 5 Each partion must have its own resources like bandwidth, CPS, connections SSL CPS/TPS etc 6 Load-balancer must support 32 such partition Redundancy 1 Load-balancer must support VRRP for redundancy 2 Load-balabncer must support connection mirroring 3 load-balancer must support automatic configuration syncronization Manangement 1 Load-balancer must support password recovery procedure without any dependancy on OEM 2 Load-balancer should not have any spinning componenet like Hardisks 3 Load-balancer must support configuration auditing 4 Load-balancer must support external LDAP authentication 5 Load-balancer must support logging of SLB sessions 6 Load Balancer must support CLI and GVI Configuration 7 Should have option to customize the administrator roles Web Application Firewall: 1 The proposed solution should have Web Application Firewall with Minimum throughput of 1 Gbps for Internet segment. The proposed solution should provide minimum 1 Gbps throughput with all features enabled (Load balancing, SSL offloading, Compression, Cluster, Caching, Web application firewall-advanced and logging) to ensure the solution is scalable and more applications can be added later.

2 The proposed Solution should have Inbuilt Web Application Firewall in the same appliance. The Appliance should be able to handle Top 10 OWASP Attacks as well as Zero Day Attacks Should support positive and negative signature Module, 3 Solution should Support Layer 3 to Layer 7 Support with advance protection for http request and response. Application firewall should be able to prevent any attack from Layer 3 to layer 7. 4 The proposed solution WAF should be ICSA Lab certified. AMC/License renewal cost for 1 year/2 years.
