Homework Memorize Exodus 24:3 Remember that Jesus has fulfilled the law and freed you from its burden. Embrace the righteousness of Christ and stop trying to be perfect on your own.

Why can t they drink the water in Marah? 3. How do the people first react to the absence of drinkable water? Exodus 16:1-4 1. What do we find the people doing once again? 2. The people say that they would have much rather been back in Egypt, why? 3. What did they accuse Moses of trying to do? Exodus 16:4-30 1. Why does God ration the amount of bread the people were able to collect?

2. What does God prove to the Israelites by providing bread in the morning and meat in the evening? 3. After the people of Israel realize that God, in fact, was providing their bread in the morning, they have to stick to guidelines and instructions. Name the specific instruction provided to them on the sixth day. Exodus 17:1-7 1. Once again, the people grumbled and complained that they needed drinkable water at their new location. Of what do they accuse Moses? 2. What object does Moses use to obey God s command and provide water for the people? 3. What does Moses call this place and why? Philippians 4:11-13 1. Paul, the author, says he is not in need. What has he learned to do? 2. Has he experienced need and plenty? 3. Have you experienced both?

4. What is Paul s secret to contentment? 5. How is this unlike the attitude of the Israelites or our own attitudes? Homework Memorize Philippians 4:11-13 Reflect on the idea of wilderness in your own life and how God is present for you during these times. Do not have the grumbling attitude of the Israelites, but rather the contented attitude of Paul.

3. Where are their faces looking? 4. What does it mean for the people of Israel now that they are building this home/throne for God? 5. Where does the Lord say that He is? 6. What would it feel like for Israel to see God s presence with them in this permanent, physical way? Hebrews 9:11-28 1. What does this passage mean for us? 2. What happens to the tent or the Tabernacle now that Jesus is the high priest? Why? 3. Does Jesus have to keep entering in the Most Holy Place and offer up a sacrifice? Why not or why not? 4. Of what does the sacrifice of Jesus portray? 5. How does it impact you to know that God is with you?

6. Does it change the way you view your faith? 7. Will it change the way you live your faithful life? Homework Memorize Exodus 25:8 Remember that God dwells among believers. Live faithfully and boldly knowing that God is present in your life.
