Bake with Your Heart Bark Like A Boss! Be a Bark Sale Boss! Grab your aprons and oven mitts, it s time to bake some goodies that ll do a lot of good for dogs everywhere! With this Bark Sale FUNdraising Kit, you ll be able to bake your own dog treats, sell them and raise funds for dogs who need a paw up. If you re ready to be the boss of your own booth, let s get started! Other items you ll need for your booth: Bags to put your treats in (we recommend clear ones so customers can see the product but paper will work in a pinch too). Table to display your goodies on Tablecloth to make it look nice Cashbox to collect your sales stocked with starter cash so you can make change (how much is up to you but we recommend no less then $50) Chairs to rest on during your scheduled breaks Pens and paper for notes Dog Droolin Recipes Sweet Potato Peanut Butter Kisses (Bake 350ºF, yields about 60 medium sized treats) 5 1/2 cups oat flour (you can use any flour but oats are highly nutritious and customers love that) 1 1/4 cup sweet potato 1/4 cup unsalted peanut butter 1 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs Approximately 1 cup of water In a large bowl, mix flour and cinnamon together first until well mixed. Next add sweet potato, peanut butter and eggs. Last add water a half cup at a time until dough forms and is ready to roll. If dough is tacky to the touch, just add more flour until dough is no longer sticky. Next, on a clean surface, use a rolling pin to roll dough onto surface until approximately 1/4 inch thick. Use your favorite cookie cutters to make fun shapes for your treats. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Let cool completely on wire rack. Store in cool, dry place until ready to package. Tail Chassin Cheddar Cheese (Bake 300ºF, yields about 50 medium sized treats) 7 cups oat flour 1 cup low fat cheddar cheese ½ cup low fat dry milk 2 tbs. olive oil In a large bowl, mix flour and dry milk together first until well mixed. Next add cheddar cheese and olive oil. Last add water a half cup at a time until dough forms and is ready to roll. If dough is tacky to the touch, just add more flour until dough is no longer sticky. Next, on a clean surface, use a rolling pin to roll dough onto surface until approximately 1/4 inch thick. Use your favorite cookie cutters to make fun shapes for your treats. Costs for the Month of 20 Use this sheet to keep track of ingredients and supply costs. Add up all your costs. Next divide the costs by how many cookies you made. That will give you the cost per cookie which will help you decide how much to sell your treats for. It is up to you whether your treats are sold in bags or individually. In either case, make sure to sell your treats at a price that s fair to you and your hard work and fair to the customer. Print this sheet out as many times as needed. Sales for the Month of 20 Use this sheet to keep track of sales for each day your booth is open for business. Add up all your sales for the month. Next subtract what it cost to make the treats. The result is your profit for the month.
