Summary of Changes in ETF/A Release 1.7.2 Summary of Changes in ETF/A Release 1.7.2 General The following enhancements to ETF/A are provided with release 1.7.2: Improved performance in the ETFA started task reducing CPU and access to the ACF2 databases. Relocated most of common storage above the 32 megabyte line. Added DB2 support to the batch command facility. Added Group UID and RBAC support to the batch command facility. Enhanced Rule Test Facility support in the batch command facility. Improved management of installed features. Improved SMS managed volume support in the installation procedures. Added CA-ACF2 CPF support to the Rule Compiler Interface and the File Maintenance Facility. Installation Improved organization of parameters for SMS managed volumes. Options from ETFAUNPK job are now carried forward into rest of installation process. Batch Command Facility Added support for DB2 rules. Added Group UID and RBAC support. Added Rule Test Facility support for create, migrate, and delete of test rules. Performance Reduced CPU overhead Moved most storage above the line. Reduced access to ACF2 databases. Firecall Facility Changes Firecall Facility Changes Cross System Firecall Communication of firecall status across systems is now more efficient and reliable. Group UID (GUID) Facility Batch Commands have been added to the ETF/A batch command facility to add users to and remove users from groups. Role Based Access Control (RBAC) Batch Commands have been added to link rules to and unlink rules from their Role Based Access Control counterpart. Product Installation Parameters specified in the ETFAUNPK job are now passed forward to the remaining installation jobs without the user having to re-enter them.
