A copy of the amended instructions is attached to this circular. All immigration officers dealing with immigration applications should read the amendments and operate in accordance with the amended instructions on and after 10 December 2012. Note The amendments described in this circular will be published in the INZ Operational Manual in due course. Changes to immigration instructions effective on and after 10 December 2012 List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment (Appendix 3) The following country lists in Appendix 3 have been updated: o o o o o o o o o o o Canada People s Republic of China India Philippines Singapore South Africa (Academic) South Africa (Trade) South Pacific United Kingdom (Academic) United Kingdom (Trade), and United States of America. Two new qualification lists for Ireland have been created (Craft and Trade Qualifications and Technical-Craft qualifications). Qualifications Recognised as an Exception (Appendix 8) The country lists for South Africa and the United Kingdom have been updated. 2
