Learning from God s Word is huge as it relates to your spiritual journey. You will begin to drift in your spiritual journey if you don t spend time praying and studying the Bible. The Bible has been given to us to help us transform our life. It is not simply a book so we can know who God is and what God thinks. Four Keys to Help You Apply the Teachings of the Bible: 1) Ask God to what you read and how He would like you to apply it to your life. 2) Use as a guide to help you apply Scripture. S Is there a sin God wants me to confess? P Is there a promise I can claim? A Is there an attitude God would like me to change? C Is there a command God wants me to obey? E Is there an example God would like me to follow? P Is there a prayer God wants me to pray? E Is there an error God wants me to avoid? T Is there a truth God wants me to believe? S Is there something to praise God for? It is important that you spend time thinking about how what you read in the Bible applies to your life.
