Broadband Project Objectives Short-Term- Now through March 2015: Help schools with network deficiencies secure temporary fixes in time for online assessments in academic year 2014-15 Operational Tasks: A. Secure short-term E-Rate broadband contracts through March 26, 2014 B. Negotiate stop-gap broadband solutions through Dec 2014 C. Make alternative arrangements (e.g. other testing sites) for remaining schools through spring 2015 NJDOE is reaching out to identified schools to assist Schools need to make sure NJTRAx data is correct! 8
Broadband Project Objectives Long-Term: Now through June 2015 and beyond: Help schools permanently and significantly upgrade their broadband networks for online assessments and digital learning by academic year 2015-16 Operational Tasks: A.
