4 Vocational Training Corporation 8 institutes North Region 3 Model Centers 25 institutes Middle Region 11 institutes South Region The VTC was established by law number (35) for 1976, it is currently working under law number (11) for 1985 which was amended in 2001. VTC works under another law called Organization of the Labor Market VTC is independent, it is run by a Board of Directors, Minister of Labor is the Chair. VTC DG is the Vice Chair. Basic levels of training include (craftsman, skilled, and semi-skilled), in addition to diploma degree that is issued in cooperation with Balqa Applied University (BAU). Upgrading courses for VTC staff are also included. VTC organizes the workforce by classifying work places. Upon request, VTC can design and implement training programs for 5 levels, semiskilled, skilled, craftsman, technician, and specialist).
