Builder s Risk Coverage of University Deductible $500,000 Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions) Professional Liability coverage may be on a claims-made basis. The policy will have a retroactive date before the start of the Work and will remain in effect for not less than five years after Substantial Completion. * Design-Builder may use an Umbrella/Excess policy to provide or supplement the full policy limit. ** Or equivalent as approved by the Owner. The Design-Builder shall require each architect, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and other professional engineer, landscape architect, and other design consultant (if any) to maintain professional liability insurance with a $1,000,000 per claim coverage limit and a $2,000,000 aggregate coverage limit. The professional liability insurance may be written on a claims-made basis with a retroactive date of no later than the date that the Architect, engineer, or consultant first performed services in regard to the Project. Valuable Papers. The Design-Builder will purchase valuable papers and records coverage for plans, specifications, drawings, reports, maps, books, blueprints, and other printed and electronic documents on an all-risk basis in an amount sufficient to cover the cost of research, re-creation or reconstruction of valuable papers or records related to this Project. ARTICLE C.2 The Design-Builder shall provide surety bonds as follows: (Specify type and penal sum of bonds.)
