Learn from the Children of Israel The Children of Israel complained all the way; Why did you bring us here? We re going to die Ex.14:10-12; 15:24; 16:2-3,(9); 17:3; Nu.11:1,4,10; 12:1; 14:1-3. At Kadesh Barnea when the 12 spies came back with evidence of a wonderful land, they told about the giants. Ten said they ll squish us like ants. They people cried, we ll die. Nu.14:1 Joshua and Caleb said, so what! God said it s our land, the giants will be our food. Nu.14:6-9. God said, these who have seen my Glory and signs and have put Me to the test now ten times and not headed My voice will not enter, Nu.14:22-23. As you have told Me, so I will give you; you will die, Nu.14:28-29; except for Josh, Caleb and the kids, Nu.14:30-31. We will be tested, James 1:2-3, and we are told to learn from the Children of Israel, 1 Cor.10:5-11. Not If but When we are tested; we need to make sure our lives are right with the Lord (repent and be forgiven), then trust Him; for it is written, Faithful is He who promised; He will do it, 1 Thes.5:24.

Exodus 25:31-40 Exodus 36:17-24 Leviticus 24:1-4

The Holy Spirit came on Saul, David and the Prophets temporarily in Tenach; Yeshua instructs disciples to wait until the Holy Spirit anoints them with Power in Brit Hadasha, and will stay. Jn. 14:16-18 Yeshua told the disciples It was to our benefit He went to the Father so He could send the Holy Spirit to each one. Jn. 16:7-15 7 spirits of God which would come on the rod from the stem of Jesse. (Messiah) Isaiah 11:2 7 Spirits of God before the Throne of God. Rev.1:4, Rev.4:5 Yeshua; He who has the 7 Spirits of God Rev.3:1, Rev.5:6 Yeshua said I am the Light of the world John 8:12 Paul talks of being grafted in Rom.11:16-21 Exodus 25:31-40 Exodus 37:17-24 Leviticus 24:1-4 Numbers 8:1-4 No measurements (no limits) One piece of pure Gold (no wood) Specific design of a central shaft and 6 branches (3 from each side) Almond flower and knob pattern on each branch Lamps filled with pure oil No rods; a special frame was used when hand carrying Fresh, pure oil added every evening and morning; the wicks trimmed; as this was the only light and was kept burning night & day Anointing oil, prepared according to divine instruction,was a symbol of the Spirit of God. Anointed, endowed, consecrated for service. Isaiah 61:1 God s Holy Spirit cannot be limited

Almond as a Prophetic symbol God showed Jeremiah an Almond branch because He is watching over His word to perform it, Jeremiah 1:11-12. The prophets were like watchmen who would receive God s word and were responsible to announce It to the people. That is what Yeshua said about the Holy Spirit, that He will take God s word and reveal It to us, John 16:12-15; and that He will continue to teach us and remind us of what Yeshua said, John 14:26. He wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, Rom.12:2; and He promised us a way out of every temptation, 1 Cor.10:13. So daily we have to choose God s way or our way; and we live with the consequences of OUR choice.

Twice; the names of Israel. As he went before the LORD, the High Priest carried or represented Israel, over his heart and on his shoulders Ex. 28:12, 29 Yeshua is our High Priest, and He represents us before the Father over His heart. Heb. 7 & 8 Also, the picture of The Good Shepherd who searches for and carries home the lost sheep on His shoulders. Luke 15: 4-6: John 10:1-18

Exodus 28: 36-39 Turban of Fine Linen Gold band engraved with Holy to the LORD All his service was to be wholy to the LORD Seal on foreheads Rev.7:3 From the tribes of Israel for the work of service Rev.14:1 His name will be on our foreheads. Rev.22:4

Exodus 30: 1-10 Exodus 37:25-28 Incense represents Prayer & Praise Ps. 141:2 Rev.8:3 & 4 Yeshua makes intercession for us today before the Father. Rom. 8:27 & 34 Heb.7:25 Acacia wood covered with Gold 1*1 cubit square 2cubits high Molding of Gold around the top Acacia poles overlayed with Gold and set in Gold rings for hand carrying Every evening and morning fresh hot coals from the Sacrificial Altar as they are consecrated; and a fresh mix of incense. (special mix only to be used in The Holy) Nadav & Avihu s disobedience Lev.10:1 & 2

Practical and Spiritual In the Tabernacle and the Temple it was a special mix of incense with Frankincense Myrrh and lots of spices, especially Cinnamon, Ex. 30. It was only for the Lord, not for use at home. Archaeologists found some Temple incense at a dig in Jerusalem and gave a tiny piece to a Cohen to test. He reported that for 2 weeks there were no flies or insects, and the most incredible smell. Think about this! God s insect repellant! No flies around the altar or outside the gate where they sacrificed the animals; therefore, no corruption of the blood. So think about the spiritual implications. Satan is called the lord of the flies and incense is likened to worship to God. If we will worship God, Satan can t hang around, he has to flee! HALELUJAH.

Leviticus 16 Only one day a year the High Priest would enter into the Holy of Holies. He would wash and dress in a white robe and not his priestly robes Yeshua laid aside His glory and came humbly to obey His Father, Phil.2:6-8, living a perfect life dependent on the Father; empowered by the Holy Spirit; shedding His own blood as atonement for the sin of all mankind; presenting His blood in the Heavenly Tabernacle Heb.9:11&12. He was born without sin (His seed was of the Father) Luke 1:35; John 1:14; He learned obedience, Heb.5:8 He chose to obey the Father. Jn.5:19; Mat.26:39,42; Mark 14:36; Luke 22:42;

Leviticus 16 He would take the blood of sacrifice and sprinkle it on the atonement cover. Lev.16:14 & 15 first of bulls for his and his sons sins; then the blood of the goat for the sins of the nation. He would make atonement for the incense altar by wiping the blood on the horns. Ex.30:10. The blood would also be sprinkled before the ark, before the Holy of Holies curtain and the other items in the Holy Place, to consecrate them. The High Priest would take a censer of burning coals from the altar and hands full of sweet incense, and bring it inside the veil; there he would put the incense on the coals so that a cloud would cover the atonement cover. Lev.16:12 & 13

At Yom Kippur two goats were taken and lots thrown to choose one to die and shed it s blood for the sins of the nation: and the other was to be led to the desert and set free. Lev.16:22 The two goats are a type of the Messiah; who shed His own blood and He removed our sin (not just covered it) as far as the east is from the west. Ps.103:12 After completing his duties in the Holy of Holies and the Holy Place, the high priest came out of the Holy Place, still dressed in the white linen, laid his hands on the living goat and confessed the sins of the nation. Then the man chosen for the job, took the goat and released it away in the desert. It was a symbol of removing the sins from the nation. Lev.16:21&22 Then the high priest would re-enter the Holy Place, wash, and change back into his priestly garments. He would then return to the courtyard and complete the burnt sacrifice. Lev.16:23&24

Is the ONLY way in Intercedes for us before the Father Has paid for our sin at the altar Washes and cleanses us with His word Is the Light of the world Reveals His Word to us Is The Bread of Life Feeds us with His Word Has come in humility in obedience to the Father And has presented His shed blood on the Atonement Cover (Mercy Seat) in the Heavenly Holy of Holies

Is in the Highest Heaven (The Holy Place) He has again ALL His Glory. He is seated because He has finished the work of Salvation He is LORD both of Heaven and Earth. Mat.28:18; The next time He appears in Person on earth, He will be In All His Glory, and every eye will see Him. Rev.1:7. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is LORD. Is.45:23; Rom.14:11; Phil.2:9-11. There will be no doubt Who He IS They will look upon Him who they pierced and will weep as for a first-born son. Zech.12:10; Jn.19:37.

The way GOD asked for the Holy Items to be laid out makes the sign of a cross. Remember! All of this pattern was given to Moses on Mt. Sinai. Nothing was added later. GOD fulfilled His pattern.

God knew what would happen before He started to create the earth. He already had the plan to come and pay in person for the sin of, and suffer to buy back, a creation that He had not yet created. That is the depth of His love for us; He still went ahead and created us. Rev.13:8.
