May cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Toxic to fish. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Keep the container well closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place, away from food or feed. Mancozeb 800 WP may generate flammable vapours if it is allowed to get damp and then warmed up. Therefore, keep away from sparks and open flames. Do NOT use Mancozeb 800 WP on tobacco seedlings. Re-entry interval: Do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried unless wearing protective clothing. Aerial application: Notify all inhabitants in the immediate vicinity of the area to be sprayed and issue the necessary warnings. Do not spray over or allow drift to contaminate water or adjacent areas. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal soil, climatic and storage conditions; quality of dilution water, compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the disease or pest against the remedy concerned, as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment, or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothes. Avoid inhalation of dust and spray mist. Wear a face shield and rubber gloves when mixing the product. In case of skin contact wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes with copious amounts of clean water and get medical attention if necessary. Wash contaminated clothing. Do not spray over water or allow spray drift onto water or adjacent areas not under treatment. Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water and eating utensils. Containers and packages must be completely emptied before being disposed of. Shake out thoroughly into the mixing or spray tank before destroying the empty container. Do not burn the empty container. Destroy the empty container by perforation and flattening and do not use for any other purpose.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as indicated. COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with most fungicides and insecticides. Do NOT use in combination with alkaline materials, such as lime sulphur and Bordeaux mixtures. Do NOT use together with Calcium Arsenate or Urea on citrus. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Half fill the spray tank with water. Mix the recommended quantity Mancozeb 800 WP with a little water to form a thick cream. Add more water, stir well and add to the spray tank whilst filling the spray tank with water. When used with emulsifiable concentrates, it is essential that the Mancozeb 800 WP be properly creamed in a little water before adding to the spray tank. The tank should then be topped up with water and the contents well agitated before the emulsifiable concentrate is added. Maintain agitation of spray tank contents throughout the spraying operation. Note: Mancozeb 800 WP should be applied before overhead irrigation. Apply before infection periods or in regular programmes. CROP/DISEASE/ Potatoes Early and Late Blight 100 lwater 200 300 g HECTARE High Volume: Start application after emergence of the crop. Apply 500 1 000 lspray mixture per hectare depending on the plant size. Fusarium Dry Rot and Common Scab Tomatoes Early and Late Blight, and Septoria Leaf Spot Groundnuts Cercospora Leaf Spot Cucurbits Beans Rust 2 3 kg Low Volume: Use only suitable equipment and apply in 200 300 lwater/ha. 2 3 kg Aerial Application: Apply in 30 lwater/ha. Use the higher rate from 6 weeks after emergence or when conditions are favourable for disease development. Repeat application every 7 10 days or after rain. 300 g For seed potatoes only. Treated tubers not for consumption. Dip whole or cut tubers in a suspension in disease-free containers under cool, humid and well-aerated conditions. Change the dipping solution frequently especially if the potatoes have a film of soil. Start application shortly after transplant at 500 lspray mixture per hectare and increase the spray mixture volume to 3 000 l/ha as the plants increase in size. Note: Mancozeb 800 WP can also be used on tomato seedlings. Dryland: 400 g Irrigated lands: 300 g Start application at the first signs of disease appearing at the base of the plant. Apply 400 500 lspray mixture per hectare every 14 days for a total of 5 applications. Start application at the first signs of disease appearing at the base of the plant. Apply in 30 lwater/ha for aerial application.

Make sure that the plants are thoroughly wetted. Add a spreader/sticker to the spray mixture. Apply as the first application in autumn before the discolouration of fruit begins. Repeat 2 3 times at monthly intervals. Shorten the intervals to 14 days under high infection pressure. For low volume application (25 40 lspray mixture per hectare) add mineral oil (light/narrow range) at a rate of 16 l/100 lspray mix. Start application when panicles appear, but before the flowers open. Apply a second spray at fruit set. Thereafter repeat every 14 21 days. 2,5 kg + 4 5 l light/medium mineral oil Apply as a low volume application. Apply the first application towards the end of November. Repeat every 26 days until after the rainy season. For the control of lumpy disease apply in the early stages until the fruit begins to swell. Apply as a full cover application with 30 day intervals. For protection against blossom-end rot, apply as a full cover application 14 days before harvesting when very wet weather is experienced. OR for the first 2 sprays, then 150 g + 600 ml light/medium mineral oil for the next 2 3 sprays If rainfall is normal during July to September, spray during the third week of October and repeat 3 times every 25 days. OR If rainfall is above normal July to September, apply after full petal drop and repeat 4 times every 25 days. Citrus Rust Mite 75 g Apply in spring. The Mancozeb 800 WP programme against black spot will also control rust mite. Brown Rot Apply 3 weeks before harvest to all fruits up to 1 metre above the soil surface. Also treat the stem and soil surface under the tree.

Apply as a high volume application at 500 700 l spray mixture per hectare. Blossom 80% Calyx fall: 1,5 2 kg Apply only if the blossoming period is longer than 14 days. Apply 750 1 000 lspray mixture/ha. Post blossom: 2 3 kg Apply two more applications at 7 14 day intervals depending on weather. Apply 1 000 1 500 lspray mixture per hectare. Dead Arm Disease Start application when the shoots reach a length of 0,5 1 cm. Apply 3 times with 7 10 day intervals prior to blossoming. Apply as a high volume application at 500 700 lspray mixture per hectare. NOTE: Application of Mancozeb 800 WP should be made before overhead irrigation. Quinces Black Spot Apples and Pears Scab and Septoria Leaf Spot Young- and Boysenberries and 125 g Start application at the green tip stage. Repeat with weekly intervals until 75 % petal drop. Thereafter, repeat every 10 14 days until the risk for regular rain decreases. HV 150 g HV 3,0 5,25 kg LV 2 4 kg Apply as a high volume application in 2 000 3 500 lspray mixture/ha. May be applied as both a pre- and post-blossom sprays. Pre-blossom: Apply a total of 3 applications from green tip stage to just prior to blossoming. Post-blossom: Apply immediately after blossoming and repeat 4 6 times with 7 14 day intervals. Use the lower spray volume for the pre-blossom and the first 1 2 post blossom sprays and the higher spray volume for all subsequent applications. Apply as a low volume application in 500 900 lwater/ha immediately after blossoming. Repeat 4 6 times with 7 14 day intervals. Use the lower spray volume for the first 1 or 2 post-blossom application and the high volume for all subsequent applications. NOTE: Mancozeb 800 WP is compatible with the most systemic fungicides registered for the treatment of scab. Refer to labels of such products to be used. 1 4 kg : Start application as soon as the first flowers appear and repeat every 7 10 days. : Start application when the first signs of the disease are noticed. Repeat application with 10 14 day intervals until the risk for regular rains decrease. Apply in adequate water to ensure thorough wetting of the plant foliage.

First application: Just after harvest in autumn. Second application: At 75 % leaf drop in autumn. Third application: In spring together with a copper spray at bud movement. Fourth application: In spring with 80 % petal fall. Last two applications: If necessary apply two more applications with 14 day intervals. For plums start application from mid- December. Apply two applications with a 10 day interval. Winter Rainfall Region: Apply at 75 100 % petal drop and repeat 14 days later. In wet seasons repeat the applications monthly on late cultivars. Summer Rainfall Region: Apply first application 3 weeks after petal drop and repeat 14 days later. In wet seasons repeat monthly on late cultivars.
