DEFINITIONS: Increased Employment and Employee Compensation Employees are full-time and part-time employees on your company's payroll (Form W-2) and contractors (Form 1099-MISC) paid directly by your company calculated as full-time equivalents based on a 40-hour work week. NOTE: An employee reported as a new job created in a prior year's report cannot be counted again as a new job or retained job in a future rear's report. Job positions are the paid, full-time, part-time and temporary positions (or slots) your company has available calculated on a full-time equivalent based on a 40-hour work week. A position reflects the specific set of tasks that an employee is expected to perform. NOTE: An employee reported as a retained job in a prior year's report cannot be counted again as a retained job in a future year's report. Leverage of additional funding 4 of 6

Funding is cash provided to your company by the federal government (including federal funding that flows through state agencies), local government, philanthropic foundations, angel investors, strategic investors, institutional venture capital, commercial banks, and/or other financial institutions. Funding excludes in-kind contributions provided by your company and/or third-parties as well as any source of state funding. New Company Formation An industry or university spin-off is a newly formed company that is expected to derive a significant portion of its commercial activities from the use of technology and/or know-how developed at another company or university at the time of its establishment. Development and Introduction of New Products A new product is a good/service that has never been available to your customers or a product that has been modified or a product line extension or a "new-to-the-world" product. Expanded Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) expenditures include monies spent on labor, services, materials and equipment used to conduct research, development, testing and evaluation as recognized by your company, regardless of where the RDT&E was physically undertaken. RDT&E excludes in-kind contributions provided by your company and/or third-parties. Intellectual Property and Licensing Patents (provisional/non-provisional) -- Identify whether or not, as a result of the Keystone Innovation Zone funding, grantee has filed for or has been awarded any patents (provisional/non-provisional). Intellectual Property - Any licensable intellectual property developed as a result of Keystone Innovation Zone funding. Licensing revenues are gross revenues generated by licensing activities, including royalty payments, fees and realized capital gains from the sale of equity. Licensed technologies Identify whether or not grantee has licensed any technologies having a direct correlation to the target industries of the Keystone Innovation Zone. Increased Revenues Revenue is monies received for goods and/or services sold as recognized by your Pennsylvania-based company. A company includes all the establishments that operate under ownership or control of a single organization, including all subsidiary organizations. Even though some of your revenue generating activities may occur outside of Pennsylvania, please report the revenue that is attributed to your Pennsylvania operations. 5 of 6

Increased Productivity Revenue is monies received for goods and/or services sold as recognized by your company in Pennsylvania. A company includes all the establishments that operate under ownership or control of a single organization, including all subsidiary organizations.
