Exercise for Body Movement: Warm up: (rise the body temperature in order to reduce the chances of injure) Start with moving your joints to head in a regular time break; have activities like jumping, skipping rope, running etc. Off Table Exercise: Shadow Practice, moves of back strokes in TT. On Table Exercise: Target hitting practice, control on ball during play, Coordination between (eye, hand & foot); multi ball training. Game Play: Playing games according to rule of TT, involving fun activities like who win stay on table etc. Match Play: best of 1 match, simulation of match situation in exercise period. Warm down: a light exercise in order decreases the body temperature of player. Beat the Champion Exercise for Foot work: As TT require a lot of strength, speed, movement, and reach toward / away from the ball during the play. Foot work can be improve by introducing activities like mirror (one player is mirror & other is respondent), three step table covering, Drill of Forehand) (right counter)-forehand (midline counter) & Backhand (left counter); there are lots of drill on table. ( ) Mirror Exercise (3 Step move to cover right to left corner of TT) (Different Fun Activities) (Service Position) (Ready Position)

-6-3rd April 2015 (Day Three): Bio Mechanics / Technique Behind Table Tennis Ball Motion / Position (Before During After) ball reach toward players As ball hollow sphere are made of celluloid or plastic, Size now day 40+mm (previous it was 40mm & 38mm) weight 2.7g. We can impart or add spin / speed to the ball. As I told TT is a game of angle of. player can add spin on ball ust brushing the ball with an angle of. & add Speed by hitting the ball without brushing. We can impart heavy spin by maximising the period of contact while ball is on the racket by pealing the ball like pealing potato / taking out ice cream with spoon. Before: When Ball is reaching toward receiver court player will move her / his racket back away from table from its ready position. During: After ball bounce on receiver court the player will move her/his racket forward & hit the ball in its ma imum high with an angle of contact of racket will be of. After: After hitting the ball follow though the motion & regain the ready position. How, Where & When As we learn about how to hit the ball with no spin & with spin. So in order to deal with different types of ball during motion we have to know How, where & when to hit the ball when it is reaching towards receiver player. Path of ball on receiver court can be divided into three parts i.e. bounce, top- maximum height attained & falling down. Tip: According to the nature of ball with no spin ball receiver need to proper carry the ball and do what she/he want to do with that ball (mean top spin, back spin, side spin etc.). but if ball is coming with spin According it you have to react ( like Topspin you have to do backspin spin in order to rotate the ball in same direction & vice versa ; And if Side spin try to read the spin on serving side & rotate the ball in which it is moving ).

Backhand & Forehand (Something Added): Push, Top, Chop, loop and Smash. Push -7-

-12-4th April 2015 (Day four): Para Table Tennis How, Where & When As we learn about how to hit the ball with no spin & with spin. So in order to deal with different types of ball during motion we have to know How, where & when to hit the ball when it is reaching towards receiver player. Path of ball on receiver court can be divided into three parts i.e. bounce, top- maximum height attained & falling down. Effect of Spin: (Topspin: ball bounce high & Backspin: ball bounce down)

-13-

-14- How to Deal with different type of Spin Topspin Serve: Receiver should apply backspin on the ball. Servicer Player :Who service the ball (Direction Receiver Player (Should react according to of force applied) approaching ball) Topspin (Up & Forward) Backspin (Down & Forward) Right Sidespin (move racket to your left) Left Sidespin (move Racket to your right) Back spin (Down & Forward) on the ball Topspin (Up & Forward) Move racket to your left Move racket to your right Multi Ball Training & Physical Fitness Multi Ball training is now day very popular. This concept of training comes from china. It is generally use to increase the Strength, Consistency in strokes, Target practice, Variation in the type of service form the feeder / coach who feed the ball to the player increase the frequency of ball in order to decrease the reaction time to player toward approaching ball; which definitely help to react faster than other. Physical Fitness: As table tennis is a game of Control, perfection and proper execution of Strokes. But now due the celluloid ball is replace with new plastic ball & size is also 40+mm which require more physical strength, need more power in strokes; that s why the Chinese coach are working on the physical exercise & appoint specialised physical trainer according to the play for China Table tennis team (men / women)

-15-5 th April 2015 (Day Five ): Tournament Organization

-16- Types of Tournament Fixer is made on the basis of no. of Entries (It will in 8, 16, 32, 64 ) 1. Knockout Round (It is done when no. of entry of players are more) 2. Round Robin (It is explained above. It is done when no. of players is less as every players plays with everyone ) 3. Combination of Both (Knockout cum- Round Robin) Preparation before match Player should have proper warm up before match. Make yourself in a comfort zone as you feel during practice time. SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat) yourself before match & play on your strength & weakness of opponent. Belief in you that you are the winner & always be positive. Never give up. After match shake hand with opponent, umpire & scorer before leaving the arena. And analysis yours SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat) after tournament is over make your strength as a weapon, work on weakness during practices, Opportunity search for weakness of opponent while playing match & Threat never show your weakness to your opponents. Types of Player Now Days: Offensive (Attacker) / Defensive Styles of Player The Attacker - Pips Out Penholder Traditional Style The Attacker - Shake hand hitter Offensive The Attacker- Inverted Power Looper The Attacking Chopper The Attacker - All Round The Counter Driver Defensive The Mid- Distance Aggressive Looper The Close to the Table Defender
