In 1986 the Laboratory of the Chemistry of New Carbon Materials had been established; the main task of the Laboratory was to develop structural materials for aerospace applications. In 1990 UNICHIMTEK had been founded on basis of the Laboratory. TENSOGRAPH S for Spiral Wound Gaskets Excellent filler for production of high quality spiral wound gaskets. ADVANTAGES: Increased production rate High strength - no break-up of filler Tight winding for production of more rigid SWG Minimal losses of material Low sulfur content Grace to its properties the use of TENSOGRAPH S foil as SWG filler allows to maximize the productivity and efficiency of automatic equipment for SWG production and is recommended for manufacturing of large diameter SWG (over 2 meters). Since 2011 TENSOGRAPH S is used as spiral wound gaskets filler at UNICHIMTEK production plants in Russia. SOME FACTS OF TENSORGAPH S APPLICATION: Production rate in creased by 30%. Materials yield ratio in creased from 80 to 95%. Total production costs reduced by 14 % compared with standard grade graphite filler application.

TENSOGRAPH S for Braided Packings New type of yarns for high quality braided packings. Reliable performance of TENSOGRAPH S braided packings in extreme conditions is due to combination of excellent heat dissipation and anti-friction properties of expanded graphite and ultimate strength of carbon fibers. Best solution for high temperatures and maximal pressures. Good alternative for graphite and carbon fiber packings. TENSOGRAPH S for Packing Rings High strength and 3D reinforcement ensure the improved performance of pressed packing rings made of TENSOGRAPH foil in high pressure conditions. Because of unique elastic response more uniform distribution of tension could be achieved.
