If the BiPAC 2060G is too hot, unplug the power immediately and have it repaired at a qualified service center. Do NOT use liquid cleaner or aerosol cleaners. Do NOT operate the device near water. Avoid using this product and all accessories outdoors. Because the product sends data over the powerline, it is recommended that you plug directly into a power outlet. Only a qualified technician should service this products. Opening or removing covers may result in exposure to dangerous voltage points or other risk. - 3 -

Installation Hardware Installation: Plug the BiPAC 2060G Powerline Access Point into an outlet Connecting a Wireless Device to the Access Point: If you are connecting to the BiPAC 2060G Access Point with a wireless/homeplug device, all wireless configuration parameters must be configured to match. Attention To connect to your BiPAC 2060G Access Point you must have an IP address.there are two ways for your wireless network adapter to obtain an IP address: Typical Setup Obtain an IP address automatically from a router on your Powerline network. Plan the installation of your Powerline network 1. Create a Powerline network using an Ethernet DSL/cable router. NOTE: You will need at least two powerline adapters to create a Powerline network.. BiPAC 2060G plugged into power outlet - 6 -

2. Create or extend a wireless network using a Powerline router (Ethernet or wireless). Troubleshooting (Wireless): Verify that your network adapter is configured to connect to the same SSID. For optimal wireless performance, be sure to keep the antenna free from obstructions. (PowerLine): Verify that your Powerline network passwords are identical for all of your PowerLine adapters.(passwords are case sensitive) All PowerLine adapters need to have the same network password to communicate. The default network password for the BiIPAC-2060G is HomePlug How to reset your device to factory defaults. There is a small hole on the right side of the device labeled RESET. With the end of a paper clip press the button inside the unit. The LEDs on the BiPAC 2060G will flash. Your device is now reset to factory default settings. - 7 -
