The only copper lies from your local street cabinet and the BT Openreach FTTC modem at your premises. This means that the speeds of up to 80Mbps downstream, with upload speeds up to 20Mbps are possible. Also the upper speed limits are much more attainable by this technology; with many people able to get the upper limits of the advertised up to speeds.
