The owner and supervisors of the trampoline are responsible to make sure all the users are aware of practices specified in this manual. Trained Spotter supervision is recommended. Place the trampoline with Monkey tent on a level surface before use. The Trampoline with Monkey tent should not be installed over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface. The Trampoline with Monkey Tent must be positioned on lawn, bark wood chip, sand or cushioning materials. Adequate overhead clearance is essential. A minimum of 7.3 m (24 ft) from ground level is recommended. Provide clearance for wires, tree limbs, and other possible hazards. A recommendation to place the Monkey tent on a level surface at least 2m from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical wires. Secure the trampoline against unauthorized and unsupervised use. If an access ladder is used, it should be removed when the trampoline is not in use. Inspect the trampoline / enclosure and Monkey tent before each use, and replace any worn, defective, or missing parts. Remove any obstructions from beneath the trampoline before each use. The trampoline and Tent is designed for users weighing 90kg (200 lbs.) or less. The trampoline is not recommended for use by children under 6 years of age. Do not allow more than one person on the trampoline. Use by more than one person at the same time can result in serious injury. Leave the tent door open while children are bouncing on the trampoline to ensure adequate parental supervision. Use the trampoline only with appropriate adult supervision. Do carefully climb on and off the trampoline. Do not jump onto it or off it. Do not use the trampoline as a springboard to other objects. The trampoline is a rebounding device that propels the user to unaccustomed heights and into a variety of body movements. Rebounding off the trampoline, striking the frame or springs, or improperly landing on the bed may cause injury. Do not attempt or allow somersaults. Any misuse can result in broken bones or injuries to the head, neck, legs and back. Landing on the head or neck can cause serious injury, paralysis, or death, even landing on the middle of the bed. Do not use the trampoline while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. These substances impair reaction time, judgement, and physical coordination. Do not jump on the trampoline while holding an object, particularly one that is sharp or breakable. Bounce only when the surface of the bed is dry. Wind or air movement should be calm to gentle. The trampoline/monkey tent must not be used in gusty or severe winds, rain or adverse weather conditions. This Monkey tent is to be used only as an enclosure for a round JumpKing trampoline. Do not attach anything to the netting/tent that is not manufacturer approved accessory or part of the enclosure. Warning! Keep away from fire. Not waterproof or made for camping. Never shelter in the Monkey tent during a thunderstorm, remove when not in use. Do not attempt to put up this product in windy, rainy conditions. Do not continue to use this product if any part of the frame becomes either bent or broken. Prolonged exposure to the sun, especially ultraviolet rays, will shorten the life of the Monkey tent. 2
Assembly Step 1 Please unfold the poles and join them together to make 4 long poles. Step 2 Insert the poles through the sleeves into the top of coloured pocket (Please see diagram). Then fix the poles to the tent by velcro strap. Insert the poles into the coloured pocket. Velcro strap Step 3 Close the velcro pocket at the edge of tent. Repeat this for the 3 remaining poles. Step 4 Attach the tent over the top of 10ft safety enclosure, so the tent is on the outside. IMPORTANT: Make sure while pulling the tent over the enclosure frame the DOOR of the tent is in the same position as the EXIT of the enclosure net. If this step is done incorrectly it will be difficult to move the door into place when the tent is assembled around the frame. Note: It is recommended that this step be completed by two people. One person (1) should stand on the jumping bed of the trampoline while the other person (2) stands outside near the frame of the trampoline. Person 1 should help guide the 4 tent poles to align in the same positions as the 4 enclosure frame poles. The DOOR of the tent is in the same position as the EXIT of the enclosure net. Once the poles are aligned in the proper place with the frame, person 1 should help pull the sides of the tent down around the frame of the enclosure. Person 2 may need to remain on the trampoline to help stabilise the tent whilst it is being assembled over the enclosure frame. Pull the sides of the tent down around the frame of the enclosure Step 5 Cross the strap with plastic hook over the toprail frame to hook onto the V-ring of the trampoline. (See diagram) Repeat this step with the remaining straps. Cross the strap with plastic hook over the toprail frame to hook onto the V-ring. The tent is now fully assembled. Make sure all parts are securely attached. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Do not allow pets or animals on the trampoline or inside the tent, as claws may snag and pull the fabric or damage the netting or tent fabric. Prolonged exposure to the sun, especially ultraviolet rays, will shorten the life of the Monkey tent fabric. Store the tent when it is not being used. Make sure that the Monkey tent is completely dry before storing it. A dry tent, properly stored, will provide the longest life of the fabric, sewing, and hardware. Remove the tent from the trampoline during harsh weather conditions or when not in use. Make sure that the Monkey tent is completely dry before storing it.
