ANNEXURE E: FEE SCHEDULE IN RESPECT OF FINANCING CHARGES Platform Interest Conversion Cost Halifaxonline Trader Work Station Unless otherwise negotiated with Halifax, there is no interest applied on a Trading Account with positive Net Free Equity. If a Trading Account has negative Net Free Equity, Halifax will charge interest on the Trading Account at the daily underlying LIBOR ask rate plus 7.00% of the Trading Account Currency (for example, if your Trading Account is held NZD, and the NZD LIBOR is 4.00% per annum, you will be charged interest at a rate of 11.00% per annum). This example is provided for illustrative purposes only. Interest is accrued on a daily basis and applied monthly to your Trading Account on the first business day of the following month. No interest is paid or received if you open and Close Out a position on the same day. Unless otherwise negotiated with Halifax, there is no interest applied on Trading Account with positive Net Free Equity. Interactive Brokers allows multiple currencies to be held at any one time and if a particular currency contains a negative Net Free Equity, Halifax will charge interest on that account at the relevant interest rate supplied through Interactive Brokers (shown at https:// www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index. php?f=interest&p=schedule2) plus 1.00% of the underlying base currency dependent on the balance tier (for example, if your Trading Account held NZD 50,000, and the benchmark interest rate is 4.00% per annum, you will be charged interest at a rate of 5.00% per annum). This example is provided for illustrative purposes only. Interest is accrued on a daily basis and applied to your Trading Account monthly on the third business day of the following month. Trading in a product denominated in a currency other than your Trading Account Currency will incur a FX conversion. The conversion rate used to convert a product denominated in a currency other than your Trading Account Currency is the rate of the specific currency at the time of the trade plus or minus 75 pips as offered by Saxo to us in respect of the Hedge Transaction. This will be applied on a per Transaction basis. For example, if your Trading Account Currency is NZD, and you are trading a USD denominated product, then the rate used to convert into USD would be the relevant Saxo NZD/USD rate as at the time of the trade plus or minus 75 pips. This example is provided for illustrative purposes only. The rate of the conversion can be found in the section Trades Executed under the Reports section of your Halifaxonline account. Trading in a product denominated in a currency other than your Trading Account Currency will incur an FX conversion. The conversion rate used to convert a product denominated in a currency other than your Trading Account Currency is the rate of the specific currency at the time of the trade, or at a time specified by the client or Halifax with the client s permission. For example, if your Trading Account Currency is NZD, and you are trading a USD denominated product, then the rate used to convert into USD (assuming you have no USD in your Trading Account) would be the NZD/USD rate as offered by Interactive Brokers to us in respect of the Hedge Transaction at the time of the trade if the trade was to open a position. This example is provided for illustrative purposes only. If the trade was to Close Out the position, or if your Trading Account has a currency other than the Trading Account Currency, the time to convert those amounts may be at the discretion of the client, or at the discretion of Halifax with the permission of the client. 8 HALIFAX NZ Schedule to Product Disclosure Statement
