1. Introduction 1.1. Introduction to the AVG-HDCP The AVG HDCP 1x1 HDMI Convertor features high-definition HDMI transmission and HDCP conversion. The HDMI IN port supports HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.2 and is compliant with lower HDMI standards, whilst the HDMI OUT port supports HDMI 1.4 & HDCP 1.4. It transmits 4k*2k@60Hz (max) signal up to 15m. Besides pass-through HDMI transmission, it is capable of converting a HDCP 2.2 compliant signal to a HDCP 1.4 standard signal. The EDID bypass function ensures the best resolution. With inbuilt HDCP 2.2 to HDCP 1.4 conversion, the HDMI Convertor is ideal for systems that require integration of HDCP 2.2 compliant devices with HDCP 1.4 or lower standard devices. 1.2. Troubleshooting & Maintenance Problems Causes Solutions Color loss or ghosting in HDMI display Power led is off, unit not functioning No output on the display Poor quality of the HDMI cable Unit not powered Poor contact in the power port Source/Display is off Poor contact in HDMI ports Change to a certified HDMI cable. Power up the unit. Make sure power adapter is inserted correctly and is not loose. Turn on the source/ display. Check the HDMI ports one by one to make sure cables are inserted and secure.
