III. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Highly flammable liquid. Eyes: Skin: Inhalation: Ingestion: vapour and liquid irritating to eyes. liquid is a mild skin irritant; repeated contact may cause dermatitis. liquid and vapour are irritant, and may cause drowsiness, nausea, dizziness. harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. IV. FIRST AID MEASURES 4.1 Eye contact : Flush immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses before rinsing. Hold eyelids apart while flushing to rinse entire surfaces of eyes and lids with water. Get immediate medical attention if discomfort continues. 4.2 Skin contact : Remove contaminated clothing; wash skin with soap and water. 4.3 Inhalation : Remove patient to fresh air. Keep warm and at rest. If unconscious, place person in recovery position and ensure breathing. If breathing has stopped or shows signs of failing, commence artificial respiration. Get immediate medical attention. 4.4 Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting. If patient vomits, turn into recovery position. Give water to drink and seek medical aid. Do NOT give drinks to unconscious persons. V. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES 5.1 Special fire/explosion hazard : can form explosives mixtures with air.
