HEARING PROTECTORS EARMUFFS & EARPLUGS UniSafe provides a range of hearing protection to suit most hearing conservation requirements. Hearing protection should be worn 100% of the time when exposed to harmful noise. The earmuff or earplug you choose should be comfortable to wear, and result in a sound level of 75-80dB(A) inside the ear cup. Greater attenuation may lead to a feeling of isolation or not being able to hear wanted sounds, such as alarm signals or communication. The level of protection from workplace noise is indicated on the packaging and/or product. If the workplace noise level is unknown, seek professional advice. CHOICE OF CONFIGURATION: HEADBAND Classic over the head configuration for all day comfort. Soft head cushion and easy fitting size adjustment optimises wear time and comfort. NECKBAND Behind the neck solution for when you need hearing protection in conjunction with safety helmets and bump caps. Flexible velcro anti creep strap is easily adjusted to any head size. CAP ATTACH Combined with a UniSafe brand safety helmet and face protection provides a total above the shoulder certified system. Additional accessories with innovative design features can be attached easily utilising the 25 mm earmuff posts, which conveniently slot into the UniSafe safety helmets.

HEARING PROTECTION SLC 80 and the class system SLC 80 is the rating number used in Australia and New Zealand. Users are advised to use only SLC 80 when selecting their earmuffs and earplugs. ZONE NG VISOR/EARMUFF COMBOS Mesh or Polycarbonate Visor Kit The UniSafe ZONE NG Visor/Earmuff combinations can be assembled with either a polycarbonate or nylon mesh visor. Polycarbonate visors are ideal for high impact protection and a range of chemicals. Certified to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 (visor) and AS/NZS 1270:2002 (earmuff). Nylon mesh visors are suitable for timber processing and other forestry applications. Additional/secondary eye protection should be worn beneath mesh visors.
