Injection unit Babyplast In 1984, RAMBALDI+Co. I.T. developed a commercial business of high technology focusing on the injection moulding of thermoplastics,. Since its creation Rambaldi has concentrated all its efforts to improve on the range of products and service offered to its customers. In 1992, RAMBALDI+Co. I.T started a collaboration with the Spanish company CRONOPLAST, manufacturer of the injection moulding machine BABYPLAST The injection unit Babyplast 6/10 is the fruit of the experience gained from the thousands of applications matured in medical - electronic - micro-engineering fields and from years of research and development in the field of MICRO-INJECTION of thermoplastic materials Typical applications, for which the unit has been developed, are : The Transformation of a standard moulding machine into a multi component machine The installation of the injection unit directly onto an automated production line/unit. The injection unit is installed directly onto the mould, either horizontally or vertically both on the fixed or moving mould half, by fixing it via the purpose made anchor plate. This allows the possibility to chose the best injection point without being governed by the construction of the moulding machine The Babyplast 6/10 injection unit, is completely autonomous, regarding the electronics and hydraulics. The interface, which allows the moulding machine to run and operate the injection unit, is made up of a simple input/output interface with current free contacts. Its characteristics guarantee easy and economic operation: It is possible to store over 100 production cycles Allows the use of standard machines for the production of multi component applications. The injection unit can be installed horizontally or vertically on the mould. Cost saving mould construction due to the advantage of flexibility in choosing the second injection point. Low running costs power consumption 2,8Kw Injection unit sizes from 3 to 15 cm³ Pressure settings from 2650 to 815 bar. PID temperature control and colour touch screen display Monitoring of injection piston position by linear transducer.
