WHO ARE DOs? Osteopathic physicians (DOs) represent one of the fastest-growing segments of healthcare professionals in the US. By 2020, there will be over 100,000 DOs engaged in active practice. Osteopathic medicine brings a patient-centered, hands-on approach to traditional medicine with an emphasis on the inter-relatedness of the body s nerves, muscles, bones and organs.
