Beyond Water Disinfection Advanced Delivery System for Pure Chlorine Dioxide

PURIFIYING WATER DOESN T NEED TO COST THE EARTH

XzioX (pronounced: Zi-Ox) is an advanced delivery system generating a high purity chlorine dioxide solution. The active biocidal substance is chlorine dioxide which is considerable powerful than chlorine and chlorite-type disinfectants. As a powerful algaecide, bactericide and fungicide, XzioX is able to reduce or eliminate those harmful micro-organisms impacting water quality XzioX is made from mixing two liquid reagents with water to producea pure 0.35 % (3500ppm) chlorine dioxide solution. Unlike conventionally generated chlorine dioxide, where less than 70 % is typically converted (the rest being chlorite and some chlorine), XzioX does not generate any harmful, residuals or by products. This is due to our unique patented formulation that allows our clients to use pure Clo2 without any of the usual adverse affects associated with this kind of chemistry. Chlorine dioxide produced by the Xziox method is stable for a minimum of 30 days without a performance loss, and can be utilized for both in line & off line disinfection. XzioX High Purity CLO2 99.9% Kills water-born micro-organisms including... bacteria, coliform, E-coli, cinobacteria, and viruses including hepatitis, yeast, fungi, protozoan, actinomycetes, cysts, legionella, anthrax, and methanogens and reduces iron and manganese XzioX generates no harmful by-products or residuals.

Chlorine dioxide, the active ingredient in XzioX, has been utilized in drinking water since 1944. But, XzioX has many other industrial, commercial and consumptive applications: Agriculture Paper & Pulp Livestock & Poultry Fish Farming & Processing Water treatment Sewage & Effluent Water Food & Beverage Processing Cooling Towers Environmental Disinfection Working with our clients across the world, we have found that XzioX at a 0.35 percent solution kills all water-born micro-organisms. Further, it s easy to use, simple to apply and contributes positively to human health. It disinfects water and water processes without producing hazardous by-products created by traditional chemicals, such as chlorine. XzioX decreases the biological and chemical loading on the environment. XzioX provides safe water disinfection at low cost with a superior yield and performance without the disadvantage of the traditional applications of chlorine or stabilized chlorine dioxide. With XzioX, there are no handling and storage issues that increase health and safety liabilities.

Extensive Research Before XzioX was brought to the market, extensive scientific research was conducted that included exhaustive application tests with our clients. Our company has associated scientists, engineers, physicians and university based researchers across the globe striving to provide our clients with all the necessary data related to their specific applications. Eco-Friendly XzioX advanced Chlorine Dioxide is environmentally friendly. Chlorine Dioxide is also an approved substance by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) of the United Kingdom. Many other approvals, including the US Food and Drug Administration, have been granted or are pending. XzioX Chlorine Dioxide and its 2 component pre cursors are fully covered by both REACH & the EU Biocide Directive. By providing a total process for water disinfection based on XzioX, we decrease or eliminate the usage of chlorine and other traditional water disinfectants.this contributes to a better environment and to the general welfare of consumers by providing safer and healthier products, processes and drinking water. XzioX chlorine dioxide is the trusted method of disinfection in a wide range of industries such as drink manufacturing, poultry, food processing/manufacturing, food grade plastics, irrigation, fruit & vegetable processing, waste water & recycling and dairy to name but a few.

Cost Effective XzioX eliminates many costs incurred by chlorine, i.e. dilution costs storage and handling cost, volatility and general health and safety implications. Difference between XzioX and chlorine & chlorine type disinfectants There is a significant chemical difference between XzioX and chlorine and chlorine-type disinfectants. These products generate free chlorine, also known as hypochlorous acid, this is the biocidal component that kills bacteria. Free chlorine is released by chlorine and chlorine-type disinfectants when applied in water. However, XzioX works on the active compound chlorine dioxide. Although chlorine can be found in the name; XzioX is not a chlorine-type disinfectant. When XzioX 0.35% CLO2 solution is applied a full spectrum of bacteria, algae, fungi, spores, protozoan, yeast and methanogens viruses are eliminated. XzioX does not generate harmful residuals type or Disinfection By-Products (DBP s). DBP s include carcinogenic and estrogenic compounds that are biologically harmful in minute quantities, e.g. TriHaloMethanes, Haloacetic Acids and Mutagen X. Economic advantages In most cases minimises the need for use of other chemicals Does not require expensive machinery Maintain activity from 4 10PH Effective biocide Simple installation equipment required (subject to site survey) Generated in water Once operational system requires very little maintenance Eliminates the need to store different chemicals on site Shelf life of unmixed product; 5 years Product remains active for a minimum of 30 days once mixed. Healthy & safety / Handling responsibities greatly reduced Not corrosive to equipment Does not require specialist trained personnel to handle product Full technical support Does not generate harmf by products/ residual Neutralises odour Environmentally friendly

Environmentally Friendly No harmful by products
