yeah! live events

overview Seeds Family Worship Live Events aim to encourage and equip your church body with the tools to effectively impart the Word of God to families and volunteers. One way we do this is by utilizing your church s musicians for the Seeds Family Worship Live Event. We ve discovered that working with church worship teams provides a great opportunity to equip and encourage your musicians and helps us be good stewards of resources. Additionally, it provides a sense of ownership for the church body to see familiar faces leading them. Finally, our hope is that your team would continue leading the songs they ve learned after our worship leader leaves. The task of laying a biblical foundation and developing Christ-like character in children is critical. We understand how difficult this journey is and find that most families long for ideas and encouragement. We have also found that due to time constraints and young audience members with short attentions spans, the amount of information given at a concert event can be limiting. So, one way to help provide encouragement for your families is by offering an additional equipping session for parents. This optional teaching session can be prior to the event or the day after. There is no obligation to add this portion of the event; however, we want to go above and beyond a normal concert event. We want to encourage and equip your families while we re there.

you provide Musicians This can be a bare-bones band (drummer & bass player) to a full band, depending on the size of your church and number of musicians. The musicians do not have to be extremely skilled. Our worship leaders are more interested in their hearts. We also appreciate a list of the names of the musicians and what instruments they play so our worship leaders can be familiar with them prior to the event. The band members will receive a Seeds t- shirt to wear the night of the event at no additional cost. Merchandise Table Volunteer(s) We will send some of our merchandise to you in advance (t-shirts, CDs, books) and ask that you provide someone to run the merchandise table. We will include all the instructions so they will know what to do. Recommended Accommodations Please provide options for hotel arrangements in your area. If there is someone in your church who is willing to host our worship leader and family member in lieu of booking a hotel, let us know, but there is no obligation to do so. Child Volunteers We ask for 4-6 kids, ages 7-12, to help lead the hand motions during the event. These kids will receive a Seeds t-shirt to wear at the event at no additional cost. We also ask that the church forward the music to the kids in advance so they are familiar with it. We also ask for the kids to be at the rehearsal, even if for a portion of it, so they are familiar with the hand motions and the songs. Writing Utensils These will be used during the Give Thanks portion of the event. Golf pencils work best and are relatively inexpensive.

we provide Chord Charts & mp3 s We will send an e-mail link for your musicians. Promotional Materials We will send you a link with posters, photos, etc. that you can print and distribute. Seeds DVD As our way of thanking you, we provide a copy of our church DVD which includes 7 songs from Power of Encouragement. MEDIA A CD including accompaniment tracks, EasySlides and typography videos. T-shirts For the child volunteers and musicians. They ll want to wear them every day! Glowsticks and Give Thanks Cards Both used during the event. An event full of family equipping, worship and fun!!

pricing Seeds family worship Event (Seeds Worship Leader(s)/Family Member) $2000 + travel expenses for two people The Seeds Family Worship Event is a multi-generational worship concert and a separate parent coaching event. The worship concert is one hour of worship, teaching and family activities. This includes a set list of approximately 8 Seeds Family Worship songs combined with biblical teaching. The worship leader shares the heart of Seeds Family Worship: family discipleship and seeking God together in His Word. The event is not exclusive to families. We encourage the entire church family to take part in the event and remind them that they are a part of God s calling to tell the next generation about the greatness of the Lord (Psalm 78). The parent coaching event is an engaging, encouraging hour of interactive and mulitmedia teaching based on the princicples set forth in Deuteronomy 6:4-7. The goal is to illustrate to families what it looks like to diligently teach their children God s ways as a part of their everyday lives. It is a pratical tool in helping parents take the next step in discipling their children. For 3-day or week long events, please contact us at 208-933-4233.

recommendations God s Word is what we want to impact children with. What a great set of music Seeds Family Worship is then in putting Scripture to music. Grace Community Church families have long enjoyed Seeds songs and they fit right in our Children s Ministries music philosophy. You ll hear Seeds songs incorporated into our ministry gatherings including camps, and, as one of our highlights, the Seeds Family Worship Concert we host annually on our campus. Seeds of the Gospel, what a powerful tool indeed. Richard Harasick Grace Community Church Sun Valley, California Our first exposure to Seeds Family Worship was almost three years ago at a family worship event at a local church. We had never heard a note of their music, but it only took a few songs before our children (and me and my husband) were moving and doing our best to sing the Scriptures. We were hooked! First of all, it was pure Word - not paraphrased or retold for children - but straight Scripture. Second, the music is, well to be perfectly honest, actually good. Great melodies and harmonies that all of us loved not because it was kid catchy, but because it was creative, well-written music. Talent well used to God s glory and the spread of his Word. And Jason did a wonderful job engaging the children and making the time meaningful for all of us. A year or so later our multi-site church was organizing a 10 year anniversary celebration and we realized that we were not going to have room to fit all the adults and all the children in the same venue. We immediately thought of Seeds and asked if they would be willing to do a family worship event with just the children. They graciously agreed and we were able to introduce Seeds to hundreds of families that day. And our family fell more in love with the music, the Scriptures, AND the Morlans! Their love for God s Word and his Body energizes the children and draws them deeper and deeper into this food for their soul.
