PROGRAMS Diploma in Advanced CAD Development The DACAD program is offered to graduate and post graduate students of engineering. It comprises of a six months of academic curriculum aimed at providing a firm foothold in various aspects of CAD development along with exposure to industry and research. SELECTION PROCEDURE Entrance Examination CCTech conducts a separate Entrance Examination. It is a highly competitive examination taken by a number of students and only short listed make it to the final list. Test comprises of aptitude test and domain knowledge test. Technical Interview The top percentile candidates short listed via entrance examination are then screened through an interview process before final admission is granted. 2009 HIGHLIGHTS Geometric Limited, Pune Centre for Computational Technologies (CCTech) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Geometric Limited in June, 2008 under which CCTech would provide trained human resources from Diploma in Advancedd CAD development (DACAD) course to Geometric Spatial Corporation CCTech becomes Spatial University Partner. As a University Partner, CCTech would have access to the best 3D technologies available for 3D modeling and visualization. It includes 3D ACIS Modeler, 3D ACIS Deformable Modeling and HOOPS products. Siemens PLM Software (former UGS Corp., USA) Siemens PLM Software provided Parasolid geometric kernel to CCTech in June 2007. Centre for Computational Technologies, Pune became the first organization in India to offer professional and student Parasolid training. Parasolid user base estimated to be more than two million end users. This has boosted CCTech CAD Development Group capabilities immensely
