Reservations There is no charge for items in Calderdale libraries stock. There is a charge of 60p for non-stock reservations. 2

If the customer has received an overdue notice for the item, postage is payable. Reservations If under 16 years, there is no charge for reservations. If 16 years or over, there is a non-refundable charge of 60p for items held within Calderdale Libraries. If a reservation is obtained from outside Calderdale, the charge is 3.00. It is not currently possible to reserve premium DVDs and BluRay discs. Note that under 18 s are not eligible to borrow DVDs and BluRays. 3

Further Internet access is subject to availability of PCs, and is charged at 1 per hour or part-hour. Lost tickets Replacing a lost ticket will cost 1.00. Renewals If renewed, charged items will incur the same fee again. If the customer has received an overdue notice for the item, postage is payable. Reservations There is a non-refundable charge of 1.00 for items held within Calderdale Libraries. If a reservation is obtained from outside Calderdale, the charge is 6.00. It is not currently possible to reserve premium DVDs and BluRay discs. 4

Sales Calderdale Libraries have a range of items for sale at various libraries: Books / media sales Sales are held each year at the Central Library in the autumn. These contain a mixture of books and audiovisual material withdrawn from our collections. Book sales are also held periodically at other Calderdale libraries, and many have withdrawn library stock available for purchase throughout the year. Our charges are: Adult fiction: 50p Adult non fiction hardback: 1.50 Adult non fiction paperback: 75p Children fiction & non fiction: 25p CDs - single disc: 80p CDs - multiple sets: 1.00 Audio books: 1.50 For further details, please contact the staff at your nearest library who will be happy to answer any of your questions. We also sell a range of new educational material aimed at family audiences, in the Central Library, Brighouse, Elland, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden libraries. You can find these on labelled display stands near the counter areas. Memory sticks A 2Gb memory stick costs 6.75. These can be purchased from the Central Library, Brighouse, Elland, Hebden Bridge, King Cross, Sowerby Bridge and Todmorden libraries. 5
