Is this treatment safe? Treatment is very safe for the skin. There are many advances in the Skin Rejuvenation technology that make unparalleled for skin safety, without compromising effectiveness for treatment. There is not long-term health hazards from light or electric energies used in the Skin Rejuvenation. Both have been used for decades in medicine, surgery and aesthetics without adversity. Any medical aesthetic procedure has risk of side effects such as superficial blistering, crusting and pageantry changes in the skin. These risks are rare and usually quickly resolved. Can the excess pigmentation come back? Common pigmented lesions do not return. Some lesions may return after a period of several months to a year. Reaction after treatment Skin Rejuvenation Fo skin rejuvenation, the patient needs to feel a little sting or heat, but that feeling does not need to be intense. Wrinkle can be repeatedly shot 2-3 times if the skin does not turn red. Fine wrinkles will disappear immediately after the treatment; the skin is evidently lifted and tightened. After pore deducing treatment, the skin turns light red and there is the sense of stinging. The skin will turn to normal within 2-3 minutes. Pores will visibly contract and black heads will float out. Pigmentation After the first treatment, treated spots will feel stingy, and the skin will turn light red, which will disappear in 1-2 hours. The pigment is degraded in 72 hours, and dispelled in 10 days by the body metabolism. After the second treatment, areas of treated spots feel a little sting and the skin turn light red, which will disappear in 1-3 hours. There will be no scabs. The pigment will be metabolized underneath the deep skin. Vascular Lesions Vascular lesions turn purple and the skin is red and slightly swollen. Redness and swelling will disappear in 1-3 hours and the vascular lesions are lightened in 3-10 days. The skin will become white and smooth afterwards. Protection after treatment Measures Apply moisturizing lotion, aloe Vera gel, antibiotics or burn ointment on the treatment area.
Pre Treatment Advice 1. Stay out of the sun for at least two weeks before your treatment and use a sun block with a protection factor of 30+ when exposed to sunlight. 2. Do not use self tan or solariums for at least three weeks before your treatment. 3. Please ensure that you remove any make-up before your treatment. You need to be make-up free. 4. Some women may experience an exaggerated skin sensitivity prior to and during their monthly period. Post-Treatment Advice 1. Apply a cool compress to relieve swelling, or warm sensations for 1-2 hours after treatment if needed. 2. Gently cleanse the treated area twice a day with a moisturizing soap or cream for several days. This will keep your skin hydrated. 3. If redness occurs as a result of treatment, it is unlikely to last more than one day. The redness is a natural response and you need not be concerned about it. Daily application of a moisturizing cream will help soothe the skin. Apply makeup over the treated areas. Use scented lotions or soaps exfoliate cream. (Retin-A and alphahydroxy) loofah sponges or scrub aggressively. Use hot or cold water wash with tepid water. Do not engage in activities that cause excessive perspiration. 4. Wear clothing or sun block (SPF 30+) to protect the treated area from direct sun exposure. Be sure to re-apply sun block throughout the day. It is imperative to the success of future treatments and skin health to protect the skin from sun exposure while undergoing IPL photo rejuvenation treatments. No sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
