Good stuff: a) Every day you will check out different places, bays, towns, beaches. b) Lots of traveling without any movement. Your room and your entire hotel travels together with you. c) No mass tourism. You are able to escape heavy crowds if you wish to. d) Your room and hotel is always zero meters away from the beach and the sea. e) No lines in restaurants. f) Easy access to the sea for swimming. g) Lots of possibilities for trips, water sports, sightseeing. h) Lots of time for reading your favorite book, sunbathing, relaxing and taking your mind from all the problems. WHAT I THINK ABOUT GULETS I do not like to talk too much and write 10 pages why gulets are such a great way to spend your holidays. For me it is very simple. I like gulets the most for 4 main reasons: 1) You do not have to cook, clean, go to the store to buy food or worry about anything. 2) You can spend entire week only in your swimming suit. 3) Every day you are in some different place, which is very interesting. 4) Kids love the swimming, snorkeling, diving and water sports and this means they give me some time to forget about everything and just enjoy my favorite book, sunbathe and not do everything. If you like holidays where you can truly relax and take your mind away, but on the other hand also see lots of different places then this is for you. 4 5

CRUISES ARE NOT FOR EVERYBODY. THIS IS A FACT! READ ABOUT BAD STUFF OF GULET CRUISES. BAD STUFF! a) Cabins on ships are smaller than hotel rooms. b) Food is amazing!!...but self service (hotel style) concept is not possible. c) Ships offer limited space. If you do not like other people, do not go on a cruise. d) If you like to just sit in front of the hotel pool and not move for entire week this is not for you also. e) If you do not know to swim and if you do not like to explore any towns or places - this is not for you. If you like at least 1 of these 2 things, you will not be bored. f) If you have children between the age of 1 and 2,5 years old. Under 1 year old - you will be fine. Over 2,5 they will enjoy it like crazy also. But in between expect to be on guard all the time. g) Cruises offer incredible value for price. But 3 stars cruise will cost you similar as a 4 star hotel. So if you are into super luxury accommodation more as into super interesting experience choose hotel instead. MY PERSONAL OPINION ON THIS! There are of course some things which I also personally do not like on gulets. Bathrooms are smaller than in hotels. If some person you are traveling with goes on your nerves, it is a bit harder to truly avoid him and on some of my past gulet experiences, it was not as clean as I wanted to be and I was not sure what was the route program. But these issues are all solved if the crew on the gulet is good. And I think that positive things of gulet cruises severally outweigh the negative ones. Unless you are really a hardnosed person that cannot take it easy and relax on his holidays then you will not be sorry to try it out. 6 7

CRUISES & PRICES HOW MUCH CRUISES COST (APPROXIMATELY) AND WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FOR THIS MONEY. CABIN CHARTER CRUISES! You have Standard, Luxury and Deluxe cabin charter gulet cruises. Both are normally organized on smaller 5 10 cabins ships max. They are meant for smaller and more private groups. STANDARD GULETS will cost you from around 200 /person/week and up to 550/person/week (in Turkey) depending on the season when you travel. This gulets do not have air condition and are very basic. In Greece this trips cost from 450 750 /person/week, while in Croatia there are only air conditioned gulets available for this. LUXURY GULETS will cost you from 600 1.200 /person/week again depends on the time you are traveling and the destination. These are nicer air conditioned gulets, that already offer very decent accommodation. PRIVATE CHARTER CRUISES RENT ENTIRE GULET! We separate gulets into 3 main categories: STANDARD GULETS Air conditioned gulets that will cost you less than 1.000 /person/week. This depends on the season you are traveling in. the destination and also regarding the selection of a gulet. You have economy gulets (without air condition) that can cost as low as 300 /person/week. Turkey is a bit cheaper then Croatia. Croatia on the other hand has more options then Greece. The prices are exible and depend according to the size of your group, the dates and your wishes. LUXURY GULETS Gulets that can compare to 4 or 5 star hotels. Super nice ships, that have prices from 1.000 and up to 1.500 /person/week. Again the price can change A LOT depending on your dates, wishes, destination and final selection. DELUXE GULETS 5 or even 6 stars gulets with no limit when it comes to luxury. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT Gulet cruise ON A GULET CRUISE? IF YOU GO ON A CRUISE WILL YOU LIKE IT? OR IT IS BETTER TO TRY OUT SOMETHING ELSE? For me personally Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries in the World. And when it comes to gulet cruise concept it is also the best one. Croatia has more than 1.200 islands. And they are all close to each other. And it has it all: a) You eat outside in fresh air overlooking the sea. b) Gulet makes 2 or 3 different stops during the day (bays or harbors) c) In bays you can swim and relax and enjoy. In harbors you can go out and make land trips. d) Gulets usually cruise from 2 4 hours/day max. And 90% of the times they travel on motor. e) There is always a crew of 2 5 people on board. They drive, clean, cook and serve for you. f) Gulets have from 20 35 meters in length and from 4 8 cabins on average. You also have gulets that are bigger & smaller and have more & less cabins. g) If you rent a gulet you can choose your own route. If you rent a cabin you follow the fixed itinerary in advance. h) You have lots of shade on deck to hide away from the sun, as well as lots of places to sunbath. i) All cabins have own shower and toilet and most of the gulets have air condition. j) Air condition on standard gulets is normally limited to 5 hours/night max. k) Gulets ARE APPROPRIATE for everybody from 0 100 years old (or more). However you need to have an adventurous spirit! We had 95 years old people on gulets that loved it and 55 years old people that hated it. So age is not important.
