Overview Integrating the functions of both NAS and IP SAN systems, the DS-A Series IP SAN/NAS Storage System is capable of realizing the remote extension storage of DVR and the centralized network storage of DVR, DVS and IP camera. Functions & Performances Economical Design: independent design, and adoption of practical and economical configuration; compatible with high cost-effective 7200rpm SATA hard disk. Optimization: concurrent write-in and optimization of the video surveillance stream. Flexibility: write-in either via management platform server or via encoder device directly. Open Programming: open API for secondary customization with the encoder/decoder and the management software platform. Usability: user-friendly and browser-based Chinese language GUI provides easy and convenient operation. Management Software: available with powerful software functions, e.g., iscsi and NAS management, status monitoring, system log, etc., which can be integrated into the centralized surveillance management system. Reliability: adoption of RAID5 technology maintains data protection despite of the failure of single hard disk; support dual-channel binding technology to realize error substitution and load balance of disk array channels.
