A Better Solution For Bigger Savings Curalan EG fungicide offers effective dollar spot control in cool- and warm-season turfgrasses. Its strong, preventative protection and long residual results in significant cost savings when compared to many other fungicides. When used as directed, Curalan EG fungicide: Controls dollar spot. Provides control of eight other diseases including brown patch, leaf spot, red thread, and melting out. Is safe to use on all cool- and warm-season grasses at any stage of growth. Lowers labor and materials costs through effective control and long residual. Offers a low cost per 1, ft. 2 Acts as an excellent tank-mix partner with strobilurins (such as Insignia SC Intrinsic brand fungicide), thiophanate methyl, and chlorothalonil, or a rotation partner with Trinity fungicide. Curalan EG fungicide is also an excellent rotation partner with Emerald fungicide in a dollar spot program. Diseases Controlled Curalan EG fungicide dependably prevents key turf diseases including: Brown Patch Dollar Spot Fusarium Patch Gray Snow Mold Leaf Spot Melting Out Pink Patch Pink Snow Mold Red Thread 4 4

Technical Brief Description: Curalan EG fungicide is a broad-spectrum fungicide that provides cost-effective control of leaf spot, dollar spot, snow molds, and several patch diseases in both cool- and warm-season turfgrasses. Use Sites: Golf courses to include tees, greens, and fairways. This product is not registered for residential, nursery, or greenhouse uses. Formulation: 5% EG (Extruded Granule) Packaging: 11 oz. WSP; 33 lb. keg Active Ingredient: Vinclozolin Chemical Family: Dicarboximide Mode of Action: Affects cell division, DNA and RNA synthesis, and metabolism. Behavior in the Plant: Contact and local systemic activity. Rates: 1 oz./1, ft. 2 Control Symptoms: Inhibits spore germination and prevents any further growth of the germ tube. Keys to Success: Apply in 1 to 4 gallons of water per 1, ft. 2 after mowing and allow foliage to dry before irrigation. Should be applied preventatively to protect susceptible plant tissues from infection. Thorough coverage of all foliage is important; therefore apply enough spray volume and pressure to achieve desired disease control. Curalan EG fungicide Tank Mixes: Insignia SC Intrinsic brand fungicide; consult all label directions for use instructions. Signal Word: CAUTION REI: When sprays have dried. 12 hours = sod farm uses only. PPE: Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants/chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material / Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks/protective eyewear/chemical-resistant headgear for overhead exposure / Chemical-resistant apron when cleaning equipment, mixing, or loading/for exposure outdoors, dust- or mistfiltering respirator (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C)/For exposure in enclosed areas, see label for additional information. 5 EPA Reg. A Better Standard For Dollar Spot Control Emerald fungicide works differently than anything else you ve seen used to control dollar spot (it is a different class of fungicide chemistry for dollar spot control). That means Emerald fungicide can effectively control dollar spot that has developed resistance to other fungicides. When used as directed, Emerald fungicide: Provides unprecedented dollar spot control in virtually every major turf species, and in every region of the United States. Controls dollar spot for 14 to 28 days with a single application. Delivers better dollar spot control in bentgrass and other dollar spot-susceptible turfgrasses than other fungicides. Gives superintendents a true resistance-management tool. Utilizes low-use rates and provides strong residual control. Where To Use Emerald Fungicide Research shows that Emerald fungicide provides excellent dollar spot control in most major turf species, including: Annual Bluegrass Hybrid Bermudagrass Annual Ryegrass Kentucky Bluegrass Bahiagrass Perennial Ryegrass Centipedegrass Rough Bluegrass Colonial Bentgrass Seashore Paspalum Common Bermudagrass Tall Fescue Creeping Bentgrass Zoysiagrass Emerald fungicide The Emerald Fungicide First Program... For Results That Last Preventative dollar spot control with Emerald fungicide is far better than a curative approach. Apply Emerald fungicide as the first dollar spot fungicide application in the spring, prior to the appearance of dollar spot. Then, apply Emerald fungicide as the last dollar spot fungicide application in late fall. Less fungicide is needed to provide preventative control. A preventative application will provide better residual control than curative applications. Early spring applications, two weeks before dollar spot initiates, results in fewer problems during spring. Late fall applications provide a clean turf going into winter (reducing inoculum that over-winters) and delays 7 spring dollar spot problems. 7

Technical Brief Description: Emerald fungicide is a unique chemistry for control of dollar spot in golf course turfgrass. Emerald fungicide also controls bentgrass dead spot, a disease that can closely resemble dollar spot. Use Sites: Golf course turfgrass to include greens, tees, fairways, and other golf turf. Formulation: 7% WG (Water Dispersible Granule) Packaging:.49 lb. case Active Ingredient: Boscalid Chemical Family: Anilide (Carboxamide) Mode of Action: Inhibits respiration within the fungal cell. Is at a different site than the strobilurin fungicide chemistries. Behavior in Plants: Upward systemic and limited translaminar movement. Rates:.13 to.18 oz./1, ft. 2 in 2 to 4 gallons of water/1, ft. 2 Control Symptoms: Provides rapid cessation of mycelia growth. Blocks further development of fungal growth at all stages. Healing of turfgrass lesions can be seen within 3+ days. Keys to Success: Preventative applications are most effective to achieve greatest benefits of residual control. Use Insignia SC Intrinsic brand fungicide/emerald fungicide or Trinity fungicide/ Emerald fungicide alternation for extended broad-spectrum control in dollar spot-susceptible turfgrass. Environmental Profile: Low toxicity to fish and aquatic plants/low potential for off-site movement and leaching. Tank Mixes: Iprodione Pro fungicide, Curalan EG fungicide, Insignia SC Intrinsic brand fungicide, Trinity fungicide, or chlorothalonil. Signal Word: WARNING REI: When sprays have dried. A New Fungicide For Disease Control and Plant Health Honor Intrinsic brand fungicide is a combination of pyraclostrobin, the active ingredient in Insignia fungicide, and boscalid, the active ingredient in Emerald fungicide. This new pre-mix provides two modes of action and delivers unsurpassed control of the top diseases that superintendents battle such as dollar spot, fairy ring, anthracnose, patch diseases (brown, take-all, and summer), leaf spots, and many others. Intrinsic is a brand of products from BASF that provides disease control and plant health benefits. As such, in addition to disease control, Honor Intrinsic brand fungicide also offers plant health benefits. Research shows turf treated with Honor Intrinsic brand fungicide provides improved plant health in the form of stress management. This includes drought/moisture, temperature extremes, and mechanical stress such as aerification. In addition, turf treated with Honor Intrinsic brand fungicide has increased root length and density. Intrinsic brand fungicides prime the immune system of the turfgrass before an event. This helps the plant and root system endure the stress event and overcome the stress through root system retention. So if you need control of dollar spot and the tough diseases, as well as plant health benefits for your turf, you ll want to use Honor Intrinsic brand fungicide. Ultimate greens product effective on target diseases. Excellent activity on dollar spot and root diseases. Can be used on fairways to deliver 21- to 28-day control of most diseases. Two modes of action. Does not contain a DMI, making it ideal for the summer application period. No need for a tank mix one product. Provides healthier and higher quality turf, especially during stressful periods. BASF is the first company to have fungicides in the turfgrass market with plant health benefits on the label. A New Granular Fungicide for Disease Control and Plant Health in Turfgrass Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide is a combination of pyraclostrobin (the active ingredient in Insignia fungicide) and triticonazole (the active ingredient in Trinity fungicide) on a granular carrier. This combination of two highly effective active ingredients delivers excellent disease control on numerous disease problems that challenge turf managers today. Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide also offers plant health benefits. Research shows turf treated with Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide provides improved plant health in the form of stress management including drought, moisture, and temperature extremes. In addition, treated turf has also shown increased root length and density. Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide can allow applications to take place 1) when conditions do not allow for spray equipment on a turf area (wet, snow cover); 2) when air temperatures do not allow for spraying due to the potential to freeze spray lines; 3) when only a spot treatment is required, saving on manpower and equipment resources; and 4) for applicators that prefer granular applications. Better performance on dollar spot than many other products including Heritage G fungicide, Compass fungicide and Disarm fungicide. Dense particle with excellent spreading characteristics. Controls more diseases than competing granular fungicides. Labeled for use on most turfgrasses for both lawns and golf. Provides healthier and higher quality turf, especially during stressful periods.
