A New Granular Fungicide for Disease Control and Plant Health in Turfgrass Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide is a combination of pyraclostrobin (the active ingredient in Insignia fungicide) and triticonazole (the active ingredient in Trinity fungicide) on a granular carrier. This combination of two highly effective active ingredients delivers excellent disease control on numerous disease problems that challenge turf managers today. Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide also offers plant health benefits. Research shows turf treated with Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide provides improved plant health in the form of stress management including drought, moisture, and temperature extremes. In addition, treated turf has also shown increased root length and density. Pillar G Intrinsic brand fungicide can allow applications to take place 1) when conditions do not allow for spray equipment on a turf area (wet, snow cover); 2) when air temperatures do not allow for spraying due to the potential to freeze spray lines; 3) when only a spot treatment is required, saving on manpower and equipment resources; and 4) for applicators that prefer granular applications.
