Integrated Project Delivery Systems Construction Management Commercial/Residential Design-Build Integrated Project Delivery Systems is the art and science of delivering a construction project to an owner s project requirements, specifications, and expectations. The process of project delivery requires management skills, technical knowledge, and an intuitive sense of the correct application of innovation and best practices. Project delivery also involves the orchestration of major stakeholders through relationships, sequencing of activities, and definition of responsibilities. Graduate study in Integrated Project Delivery Systems is a professional, multi-disciplinary program that offers holistic training in organizational, financial, professional, and contractual issues. Our program looks at how general contractors, real estate developers, architects, engineers, and property owners can coordinate their responsibilities to complete a construction project more effectively. Graduate students in IPDS will learn techniques, such as construction management, design-build, design-bid-build, and other alternative delivery systems. Our graduates are able to apply effective management techniques to the planning, design and construction of a project from inception to disposition of built assests, for the purpose of controlling time, cost, and quality. The graduate track in Integrated Project Delivery Systems is designed for professionals interested in developing their expertise in program management and various project delivery systems (such as design-build) and preparing themselves for senior-level positions in the industry.
