FROM PARENT Dear As parents, we make choices for our children. Then we hope that we ve made the right choices or we fear the wrong choice. Worse, though, than making the wrong choice is having no choice at all. I chose to send my child to <ENTER SCHOOL NAME HERE> because I believe it offers my child an opportunity for a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. I am grateful to have had the choice. Too many of my neighbors have no choice at all. Too many of their children are trapped in schools that have not yet kept the promise of providing a quality education for all of our children. Credit Act (Senate Bill 1). It would provide families with a chance to send their children to a public, private, parochial or charter school of their choice. The measure would also increase Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) funding by $25 million. EITC has provided many hard-working families with a choice for their children. As a parent, I made a choice that I believe is best for my child, and I believe all parents deserve that right. Please support

FROM PARENT Dear As parents, we make choices for our children. Then we hope that we ve made the right choices or we fear the wrong choice. Worse, though, than making the wrong choice is having no choice at all. Right now, I do not have a choice in my child s education. My child attends <ENTER SCHOOL NAME HERE>. I firmly believe that the <ENTER SCHOOL DISTRICT HERE> has not kept its promise of providing a quality education for all of our children. My child deserves better and, as a parent, I want to be able to offer my child an opportunity for a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. Credit Act (Senate Bill 1). It would provide families like mine with a chance to send our children to a public, private, parochial or charter school of our choice. The measure would also increase Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) funding by $25 million. EITC has provided many hard-working families with a choice for their children. As a parent, I try to make the best choices for my child and I believe all parents deserve the right to make the best educational choice for our children. Please support

FROM EDUCATORS AND OTHERS I am writing to you to show my support for school choice. Too many families have no choice at all when it comes to basic education. Too many of their children are trapped in schools that have not yet kept the promise of providing a quality education for all of our children. Credit Act (Senate Bill 1). It would provide families with a chance to send their children to a public, private, parochial or charter school of their choice. I believe all parents deserve the right to make the best choice for their child s education. Please support

FROM STUDENT My name is (NAME) and I am a (GRADE)-grader at (NAME OF SCHOOL). I am writing to you to show my support for school choice. Too many of Philadelphia s public schools are not equipping students like me with the tools we need to succeed. Unfortunately, my family cannot afford to send me to a private school or move to a neighborhood that has a better school. Most charter schools have limited enrollment, which means I may be put on a waiting list for years, if I am even chosen. The Opportunity Scholarship Act (Senate Bill 1) would give me a chance to attend a public, private, parochial or charter school of my family s choice. The legislation would also increase Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) funding by $25 million. EITC has helped many Philadelphia students obtain a better education. School choice legislation offers students like me a wider range of educational opportunities. I want to be able to do well in school and become a successful adult, and education is the key to helping me reach my goals. I support Senate Bill 1 because my family believes in providing me with a quality education. All students deserve the chance to be given a choice in our education, and the Opportunity Scholarship Act would give us and our families that choice. Please support
