What Are Boot Camp Theme Days? Boot Camp Theme Days are random days during the month that you theme the workout days. It could be as simple as people wearing crazy socks all of the way to the chicken dance day, where everyone does the chicken dance when the song comes on. The whole point of the boot camp theme days is to add a little variety to the daily boot camp routine and to break people out of their shells and encourage them to have fun. These will definitely help you build a culture in your boot camp! How to Get People to Participate The way we usually get people to participate is to give out a prize for the person who participates the best. This could mean dressing up the best or just giving it the best effort. Make the prize something small but cool. Prize ideas could include: - Gym Shirts - Shaker Bottles - Wristbands - $10 itunes gift cards - Movie Tickets - Anything around $10 or less in value but don t be boring and cheap. Then, once you have established a prize and announced it, you want to make sure you give a good seven days of promotion time. Remind your members by: - Announcing at the end of each session - Newsletter - Facebook - Email Blast Whatever you can do to remind people of the upcoming theme day. How to Market With Theme Days The best way to set your boot camp apart from others is to take a ton of pictures when you are having a theme day and post them EVERYWHERE. 1. Facebook is an obvious one. Just make sure to tag everyone in the picture. 2. Put the images in your emails to your list. 3. Make a YouTube video with your phone and post it for the world to see. This is a good one because nothing captures the fun vibes of a theme day better than a short 2-3 minute video. 4. Pin your photos on Pinterest 5. Share photos with Instagram Do anything in your power to get the images and videos out about your boot camp theme days. It makes you look like your workouts are WAY MORE FUN than your competitors. Remember people can get a hard workout anywhere; they want to go to some place where they can get a good workout AND have a damn good time! Boot Camp Theme Days 1. Crazy Socks Day Everyone wears the craziest socks they have to workout in 2. Tie Die Day Dress in Tie Die clothing 3. Black Dress Day Everyone works out in a black dress 4. Pretty Pink Day Everyone has to be decked out in pink 5. 80 s Day Dress like it s the 80 s 6. Star Wars Day- Dress like your favorite Star Wars character 7. Cazy Tie Day - Everyone wears their favorite tie to workout in 8. Flag Day Everyone has to wear something that has a flag on it 9.
