Online Writing Lab (OWL) A supplemental practice tool: Intermediate/Advanced English-as-a-Second Language classes. Intermediate Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Educational Development (GED) preparation classes. The OWL offers students a place to practice writing and receive online feedback. Online tutors are: CT certified teachers. Certified scorers in the CASAS Functional Writing Assessment Rubric. Familiar with teaching writing for the GED test.
