3 After selecting the course, the Course Management screen displays the Management Options section with the Assign Courses tab automatically selected. Hint: The title of a selected tab is grayed out. There are three ways to assign courses - by email address, by ServSafe User ID, or by creating a Course Key. 1. Select An Option Here.
4 The example below demonstrates how to assign a course via email. 1. Click the drop-down arrow and select By E-mail Address. 2. Enter the email address of the person you will assign course to and click the Assign button. 1. Select By Email Address. 2. Click Here
5 After entering the email address and clicking Assign, the message shown below displays. 1. Click the OK button. 1. Click OK.

7 The example below demonstrates how to assign a course by using a ServSafeUser ID. Students will need to be registered in order to obtain a ServSafe User ID and to use the courses assigned to them. 1. Click the drop-down arrow and select By ServSafe User ID. 2. Enter the student s ServSafe User ID. Note that the example below uses AS216 as the student who will be assigned the course. 3. Click the Assign button. 1. Select By ServSafe User ID. 3. Click Here 2. Enter User ID.
8 After entering the ServSafe User ID and clicking Assign, the message shown below displays. 1. Click the OK button. 1. Click OK.

10 Assigning a course key code is different from assigning a course by ServSafe User ID or by email address in that you have the ability to create as many course keys as needed. For example, if you have 60 employees, you can generate 60 course keys. 1. Click the drop-down arrow and select Create Course Key(s). 2. Enter the number of course keys to generate. In the example below, two course keys will be generated. 3. Click the Generate button. 1. Select Create Course Key(s). 3. Generate 2. Enter The Number Of Courses.
11 After entering the number of course keys to generate and clicking Generate, the message shown below displays. 1. Click the OK button if you are certain about the number of course keys you want to generate. 1. Click OK.
12 The message highlighted in red indicates the number of course keys generated. You will receive an email with the course key, which you can forward to the intended examinee. The examinee can copy and paste the course key into the box that requests the course key code after they log in. 1. Confirmation
13 1. You can also view generated course keys by selecting the Unused Course Keys tab. The Unused Course Key tab provides the course key numbers, the date created, and the date the course key expires. 2. If you assigned the course key to the wrong person, or made a mistake in assigning the course, unassign the course key to the course. To unassign the course key, click the trash can to the right of the expiration date, 1. Click Here. 2. Select The Trash Can.
